People want to vent during football games when things aren't going well. Believe it or not, that can even fluctuate from play to play. It's called being a fan. People who aren't pieces of shite understand this.

Venting is fine. Venting like a defeatist bitch is actually what it sounds like it is. Also, blaming people who are not at fault in order to vent (sic) is kinda dumb. It amazes me that people put so much passion and emotional energy into this and choose not to understand it.

The team and coaches definitely deserve criticism. I don’t think there’s anyone on here that wasn’t critical after the OM game.
What I don’t like is calling individual players pussies, bitches and retarded ….or quitting after the first drive when something bad happens. These kids are busting their arse and want to win more than anyone on this board. It’s possible to be critical without being an a-hole.

I criticized and will criticize Coley. He has the propensity to go straight to the technical as opposed to starting with the basics like how to actually run a route and catching the damned ball!!!!!

I agree but at this stage coaching receivers on how to catch seems a little late in the game. They need to all sit down and watch how Mitchell used to (and still does) attack the ball. He had the most aggressive hands of any receiver I can remember.
ETA: yes Malcom Mitchell. He almost always catches the ball away from his body with both hands and an iron grip.

Are you kidding? We have bricklayers and fry cooks and realtors on this board who spend their Saturdays watching football with a beer in hand. They told everyone who would listen that Stetson Bennett sucked and would never win a championship, or a 2nd championship. They can watch a game on their 60 inch TV and tell you which players should and shouldn't be starting before Georgia's coaches have time to get back to the locker room.
Seriously though, there are a lot of trolls on football boards. There are also a lot of posters with a serious lack of self-awareness; they don't know what they don't know. The trolls are just waiting for one bad play to unleash their venom, heaven forbid a loss. The ones who've started questioning Kirby's judgment, given his record so far, I have to lean more toward trolls.

Just keep in mind that what happens here (or on youtube) is not analysis; it's criticism by people who are unhappy because their team, in which many invest too much of their self-esteem, didn't match up to their unrealistic hopes. Nobody here watches practices, or cut-ups of game film from every conceivable angle. They don't know how a play was drawn up, or how it was executed by 11 different players. They don't know how well a single coach actually does their job. They just know they're not happy with the outcome and, as unhappy people often do, look for someone to blame and reach a lot of wrong conclusions.
In other words, the information used to fuel this criticism is low-quality and low-quantity, and therefore the critiques are generally partially or completely wrong no matter how many people agree.

I wasn’t referring to people who defend or criticize Beck. Im all about debating and arguing every issues and let the best arguments or the most persuasive and logical win. And then gloat and act like vikings when proven correct and rub your foes noses in it like a new puppy that just pissed on the rug and never let them forget so they dont do it again etc
Instead…..I was referring to the idea that people consider themselves part of some elite and perfect circle where they are automatically “correct” and so they get to teach everyone else the correct opinion. And if those on the recieving end of this system dont like it, its just because they are ignorant and resistant to being corrected by their betters
Pretty simple. That shite just happened in real life in an election season and then right here digitally.
