Lmaoooooo I fricking forgot about this kid

I had my Intro Portuguese class at UGA with him, and he dropped after 1 day. Thank you for bringing that forgotten memory back to me.

ETA: Brain blast aside, Eason might hold the title for the biggest bust. Dude was treated as a Messiah before even setting foot on campus as a student.

I remember when he was on campus in December of 2015 and everyone in Silver Dollar was chanting "SAVIOR, SAVIOR, SAVIOR" at him while he was just chilling in the corner.

cmon man. That's on the drunk studnets annointing him it's not eason's fault. Eason performed pretty much exactly what you'd expect a true freshman to do in 2016, and that was basically the end of his career. Don't know how you coudl call him a bust at that point.

55%, 2430 yards, 16 / 8
53%, 1749 yards, 7 / 13
62%, 2615 yards, 24 / 7
59%, 2789 yards, 17 / 9

Those are the FR year stats of eason, stafford, fromm, and Greene. Greene was a RFr the rest were true. Fromm had a phenomenal defense and awesome supporting cast on offense around him. Ditto DG. Eason also was in year 1 of a new turnover (similar to DG) with an all new staff and new culture.

He wasn't an all american and no one is gonna be wearing his jersey still but I mean pepole act like he's like a tate martell level of flameout. He certainly was not a savior but he's not nearly the biggest bust we've ever had? Why? Because we still remember him and can point to some great plays he made. The biggest busts we've ever had are people that are already practically erased from your memory banks. Guys like marquise elmore and brandon miller. FFS Trenton Thompson was only 4-5 years ago and he fits the mold far more than eason does.

It was a 23 year old bottle a certain person had saved for 10 years.

Was that before or after he threatened to take his services elsewhere unless given certain guarantees from the coaching staff?

Are you referring to the MVP of the winning football team for the college national championship?

Pretty sure that happens in a lot of transfer conversations with players. I highly doubt he walked in to Kirby's office with a confrontational attitude ready to throw down.
