Our DSR and KPI are both solid which I think will balance out anything negative with the RPI. Plus, our conference record (especially on the road) is kind of amazing

The one thing I have noticed that is substantially different as while we hit a ton of HRs, unlike last year we also put the ball in play with base hits.... That is reassuring going into the playoffs as gorilla ball is like the passing game, it can come and go at the worst moments. Base hits score runs....

We are definitely a much more polished offense this year. For comparison:

Last year we hit .288 as a team. This year we are batting .328

Last year OPS was .975. This year 1.074

Last year Slugging was only .564. This year it’s .629

We have already surpassed last years hit total (currently at 584) and are 18 bases shy of matching last years total bases number (despite having 18 less walks).

We are also 4 HRs away from matching last years HR total and 11 away from tying the program record set in 2024.

We’re just a better set of bats that is consistently making clutch hits

Losing Allen hurts that statistic though, as of now. Don’t remember an injury this late in the season to the bats last couple years.

Don’t think it will have a major impact though, just pointing it out for moving forward. Next man up

Thinking Wes must have fricked the color announcer's wife. Dude is non-stop ragging on the Dawg's chances in the post season here in the bottom of the third.

1-0 Auburn, 2 outs bottom of the third.

Scott has pitched 3 straight scoreless innings in relief.

Auburn announcers still taking shots at Georgia here in the top of the 9th. This time mocking their 'histrionics on the field' last year.

Don't know if these clowns are the regular auburn announcers or not, but it sure seems like it to me. Auburn cannot be disliked enough, imo.

Heading to the bottom of the 9th, Dawgs up by one.

Scott mows 'em down for 4 straight innings as the Dawgs 4 hit auburn at their place.

Georgia wins a record 22 SEC games.
