His junior highlights remind me of Carson Beck in HS, with better pass protection of course. He's not throwing Stafford-like missiles, but his motion is quick and effortless when it needs to be, with still plenty of zip ( 53 second mark for example). Moves around in the pocket well, goes through progressions. Good pickup IMO.

I'm skeptical. The media plays portal games too. Maybe Herbstreit will give Gunner a call and tell him "You've got to get out of there. Gotta do it".

Kirby is very vocal about wanting 4 scholarship QBs. We currently have 3, 1 of whom is injured.

I understand that and that was his preference last year too. My guess is he makes a decision based on who is available in the portal, how they fit, and how good he feels about his backups, most importantly his #2. If we take Rashada, in particular, it says more than just "I want four", IMO.

Walker plays in the smallest classification in Georgia and a lot of the teams Schley plays would lose to a lot of GISA teams, but DAMN if he doesn't look like a future NFL first rounder!
