I'm not real familiar with Fran Brown...however I see that Dell McGee was also one of the recruiters and Dell McGee is a great recruiter. Maybe both? I'm not sure.

I don't know. I don't see it spelled out on the other site. If i had to guess, I would say preferred walk on. BUT.....looks like we beat Alabama out for him, so.....

Read Sentell’s article on AJ Harris.

He flat out says CFB is the reason he committed to UGA. Also said he was ready to commit to UF prior to his OV to Athens.

With Arch off the board, do we still go after a QB? Hopefully we aren’t too late to the party after going full press for Arch.

Doubt it. Why go for a lesser 2023 talent when you can just hit the portal after this season? Not as though we are in dire need of a 2023 freshman arm with what we already have.

We went all in on Arch and got burnt. Lonergan has an arguably higher ceiling this class but he wants to play baseball, too, and Kirby isn’t down with that for his QBs.

Attention turns to 2024 for a HS QB but we seemingly lost ourselves the Raiola sweepstakes by putting all our eggs into the Arch basket. So while we will still press in that direction, probably time to start weighing the next options down the list for that class

He isnt wrong.
We should have taken John Rhys Plumlee back in 2019.
Baseball took him away from us and we were left in 2021 with the Carson Beck versus Stetson Bennett debate early in the season.

It amazes me that even though JRP accomplished absolutely nothing throwing the football at ole miss you still sit here acting like we missed out on something special

Reread my post.

"He" is kirby.
There is no inclination that we missed out on anything.
The irony is that "missing" on JRP brought Stetson Bennett home.

Try to keep up.

I think that we turn our focus to a "24 QB. Several 5* QBs are still uncommitted and I think that's where we go.

If we bring someone else in for '23, it will be a portal QB, likely a grad transfer.

While I think you could have worded it more clearly, I’ll let you win this round, old man. :)

Seems to want out of the SEC (or at least his dad does). Ohio St would be my guess at this time
