Our Offense is opening eyes

WHAT MAKES WILLIAMS DIFFERENT

Speed and size make Williams different than those in his peer group. The Lakeland receiver is a legit 6-foot, four-inches, listed at 205 pounds. He reports a 4.47 40-yard dash, and his speed on the field this season shows that. Against Winter Haven, he took the opening kickoff back some 97 yards and had a punt return for around 75 yards turning on the jets when he saw the lane.

IN HIS WORDS

“People say Georgia doesn’t throw the ball, but after watching them play in the season opener, Georgia impressed me the most out of all the schools that are in my top-five,” Williams said.

Great get with Williams, I like his size/speed.

I REALLY LIKE those white pants he is rocking with the white jersey, why don't we use that color combo in some road games?

At some point, A&M cleaning up on 5* is going to have to pay off for them.

With that kind of talent only 2 years. Programs with talent outside the top 10 needs 3 and 4 years for their athletes to reach their upside.

Surprised nobody has posted about Roderick Robinson II flipping from ucla to us today. Don't know much about him but he is 6'1 230 RB

Damnit my bad I hit the wrong arrow. He is original from Upstate SC and his family moved out west after his Sophomore year. I saw him as FR at Blue Ridge in SC and he was a load then.

We needed a back. Can’t believe we aren’t there for the top guys anymore.

He is one of those late risers who is going to make Dawg Fans proud.

Currently, 2 of our top 15 commits are from Georgia.

They all went with other schools. Justice Haynes was one we thought was a lock and he decided on Alabama.

Everybody wanted our offense to be wide open with passing and that is the consequence of doing that. Hopefully, we will start to get big time WRs now.

All that said, we needed a big, bruising back, and Robinson is a nice combination of power and speed, and he is big. REALLY big. 6'1" 230 or thereabouts.
He is not in the class of back Owens or Haynes is, but is a really good back and we are very fortunate to get him.
Between Branson Robinson and Roderick Robinson we will be able to pound opponents into submission with an occasional long run thrown in. We probably need to pick up a smaller faster RB to complement them with the passing game.

As long as we are getting quality talent, I don't care where they come from. That said, Georgia is loaded next year, so I expect us to go big with Georgia talent next year.

We screwed up by not taking Tank Bigsby. I hope we start recruiting more top Georgia HS players.

We didn’t not take Tank. We went after Evans over him. As good as Tank is Evans is technically more talented but we knew he was showing a-hole tendencies and pursued him relentlessly anyway. By the time we went hard after Tank he was basically offended, which I don’t blame him for. It was a character miss not a missed talent evaluation.

3/4 star QB from Connecticut Ryan Puglisi commits. Interesting. Very similar build and profile to Julian Sayin who is much higher rated and it seems like we pursued this guy harder? Interesting.
