Woods working on a 1 hitter.
Never mind. First batter on base with a single.
Next batter pops up to short center.
Base hit up the middle. Runners on 1st and 2nd, one out.
Next batter whiffs. 2 outs (6th KO for Woods).
Gapper to left center. 2 Wildcats score.
That'll be it for Woods after 99 pitches.
Hoskins, Freshman out of Duluth, in to pitch.
Walks first batter he faces in 5 pitches.
Walks second batter on 5 pitches. Bases loaded.
Walks third batter. Runner scores.
For some reason, the next better swings at one and pops it up.
Georgia happily wastes their big inning.
Kentucky strikes back, but Dawgs still lead 4-3.

This team isn’t worth following; we are damn near playing every game without a bullpen. No lead will ever be safe and it doesn’t matter how well the starter does. Really sad state of affairs because this team has some bats and Woods has put up some good starts

It's tough. I am really not sure why Stricklin should make it through the season. We are being out-recruited and out-coached. We are not a smart, focused team that knows how to make the most of every in-game situation. Quite the opposite, in fact.
No excuses not to make a change at this point. None.
I'm rooting for the weather tomorrow.

We’ve never really seemed to have a strategy at the plate under Stricklin other than spend the first 2-3 innings hoping for the best and then the rest of the game trying to adjust (if we adjust at all).
For a bullpen to be THIS awful 10 years into a tenure is firable. 1/3 of the team isn’t even functional right now and there’s nothing the other 2/3 can do to compensate. Literally failing guys like Woods, Condon, Collins, Harber, Tate, etc who are respectable SEC players but can only do so much.

Well, I think we can safely say the Sticklin era is coming to an end soon. This team isn't really competitive in SEC play. Sure the SEC is the premier league, but with all the talent in the state, we should be at least a top tier team in the conference.
