Dawgs win it 7-2

All around solid nights pitching from a staff that needed a solid night. 2 runs on only 6 hits, 12 K, and 4 BB for the staff.

Offense managed to pull away late and win comfortably on 6 hits, 5 walks, and 7 LOB

We take the series from Southern for the first time since 2019 and that will aid our RPI down the road; Southern is 17-8 (5-1 in the SunBelt).

Garrett Brown pitching tonight against Hunter Barco (arguably the #1 pitcher in the country). Jaden Woods will play whenever needed (I.e. if Brown fricks up tonight or someone fricks up on Saturday)

Stricklin says Cole Wagner has a throwing injury which has kept him in a DH and pinch hit role.

Sully is throwing live to UGA hitters tomorrow, his first time throwing in 3 weeks. Plan is for him to start against South Carolina

Brown gives up a walk and an infield single in the 1st but escapes any damage.

Wagner looked like a freshman on his out. Just swinging for the fences and Barco knew to eat him up

Rogers was disappointing. Exceptional defender, hasn’t turned the offensive corner he should with his level of experience.

Harber got a good swing on his but ball lofted just enough and LF was in right placement

And Acton, the former Gator, gets hit by a pitch. Hmmm.

Absolutely intentional because O’Sullivan is absolutely the kind of douche to call it

And Florida shoves the analytics up Strickland's @ss.

Okay, that might be a little harsh, but it's painful to watch the shift fail. Twice in one inning.

That’s pretty standard for Brown. 2 runs in 3 innings for him is a pretty good night
