Decent start to the Season

Positives:
• Kario shot well and didn’t force too much
• Jabri looked so much more polished in both games. He knows his role now
• The defense is miles better. And that’s not just due to a poor opponent
• Anselem has a great post presence and moves well. Great defender
• Hill is almost as athletic as Kario
Negatives:
• Mike Wgite wasn’t kidding when he said the offense was still rusty. There were some brutal stretches there
• We literally had 7 illegal screens. WTF?
• Bridges has looked off for two straight games
• Seem to lack shooters
• Kario shot well and didn’t force too much

I think we’re better than last year. I would be happy with 14-16 wins and 4-5 wins in conference. I think it’s realistic. We defended elite at times then lost containment. I do think this team plays together, shoots FT’s well, and can probably beat at least 1 team we’re not supposed to.

WF only beat some scrub by 12 in their opener. I know that doesn't mean anything but it at least makes me feel better than if they'd won by 30.

This team is better than last for sure. It’s only game 2. Roberts looks great. Just need ti develop some 3 point shooting and we’ll be ok.
