Saw Dallas Turner announced he's committing July 1st... blink twice if he's one of the ones ready to go public soon.

Bama. Really good ballplayer though.

Looks Mondon is headed to Auburn. Our defense recruiting is in the toilet for some unknown reason.

Looks like you'll need to provide some more information.
Edit: ain't shite on the AU board about it and they're usually giddy as little school girls over this kind of news.

Ah yes. The ole our “recruiting sucks” post when it’s June. Never fails

He must know more than Americus....

Nah, there was an article released that he said some flattering things about AU.

Our standards since Smart took over.

Can’t believe you are standing by the idiotic comment. It's friggin June. Do you say our overall recruiting is in the toilet because we are ranked 17th?
Compared to the “standard“ Smart has set....
I think this year has a heavy focus of offensive needs, but our defensive recruiting isn't in the toilet.

Our needs every year are not the same. Also it's way early.

Grimes as expected
Again, what is it with Auburn?!? What exactly do they offer that UGA doesn't do better?! Why are kids interested in that school.
Either go to an academic school or go to a powerhouse, don't go to a school that's neither!

Grimes isn't a done deal by a long shot.
He's told all his finalists he will OV them before December, so we'll have a chance to flip him.

True, not having him on campus hurt us. I think we get a strong second look at some point.

Stfu about this already. You've brought it up several times and have been proven wrong about it every time. It's shite like this that lets everyone know you're an alter.

Welp, never mind on Grimes.
His dad said yesterday he was going to reclassify to 2020 and be on campus in Chapel Hill within a month. Too much uncertainty with regards to HS football in VA this fall.

I'm only going to engage you because that couldn't be more wrong. Let's break down what I said little by little and make it easy.
Auburn:
ACADEMICS: Ranked #104 in National Universities according to US News
FOOTBALL: Beat UGA 3 times in the last 15 games
UGA:
Ranked #50 in National Universities according to US News
Football: Beat Auburn 12 times out of the last 15 games
Where exactly am I wrong when I said we're better than them at basically everything?
If a kid wants to go there then fine, that's certainly their decision but objectively speaking it makes no sense unless you value things like "comfort" or "family atmosphere" or whatever silly reason some recruits choose.
If I had a golden ticket to go to any college I wanted, I wouldn't choose a bad academic school with above average football in a small town in the wasteland of Alabama.
I'd choose the school with the best balance between Academics and Football or simply just choose to go the academic route.
Clemson, Ohio St, Florida and Georgia offer the best balance between academics and having a realistic shot to win a title.
Auburn though? Why the hell would you waste your golden ticket on going to a school with a crap degree and a long shot at competing for a title?
Again (because I know this is what your response will be) if a kid wants to go to Auburn then fine but it just makes no sense to me.
Either be Davis Mills and go academic or go to one of the above mentioned schools and compete for a title.
