People have put up with your shite long enough... at this point, if you're going to be a shitty troll you can see yourself out. If this place wasn't a steaming dumpsterfire of technical debt, we would all have already had the option to just hit ignore. If you had an ounce of self awareness, you would just own up to being an alter and pornbomb yourself. Your schtick is sad.

They took it down.. what was it?

On the recruiting board. They initially had him down as a USC commit... which is what most are expecting. Once the package deal with KF and MS kind of fell apart, that they'd likely just settle in for something closer to home. Ultimately a recurring theme with a lot of recruits in a year where traditional on campus visits and in person time with coaches weren't allowed.

A couple of misses for the staff this year, but it was already projected to be a smaller class at 23, and that was only if the right 23 wanted to come. On the upside, we have room to add via the portal or NSD if any late deciders can be swayed. If not, we've got more room for back counting in the 22 class and can make up for having to eat forward in classes with blue shirts the last couple of seasons.

Makes sense. It's sad, as I assumed LSU fans had more interesting things to do. Apparently this one doesn't have any friends I suppose.

Agreed. I have a feeling we see what we get at the end of recruiting and early outs, then fill in what we need from the portal. Mayeb Gilbert if he decides to leave LSU. Ojulari, maybe? There are several out there and certainly will be more.

That would be my guess. he had a ncie run, though. We've let him stay on our board for a good long while. Who on here can kick him off, and can we ask them to get rid of him?

We dropped from last year everyone, stop being losers.

How many times has Bama dropped below #3 you ask?

One time in 10 years. That's called excellence and you guys are on here pretending like we knocked it out of the park. We held serve this year ok? We did fine, but fine isn't cutting it anymore when Alabama is still kicking our arse on the field and in recruitng.

Can someone hear have some balls and just judge our signing day objectively and stop being Disney Dawgs.

BAMA is undefeated
BAMA has two Heisman candidates
BAMA is clearly the best team in the Country
BAMA is getting another Championship

And you people on here patting yourselves on the back for the #4 overall class.

Like it said, it's fine but BAMA beats us again.

You guys are being Mark Richt-era pansies.

If #4 is good enough for you then you have low expectations for this program.

BAMA #1 again because BAMA doesn't piss away winnable games or whine cause their starting QB is injured. BAMA comes prepared every week and never has an off game. BAMA gets #1 overall recruiting classes despite the fact that their school is less desirable than UGA.

BAMA is easily going to win another championship. BAMA will have kids go in the first round.

THAT is excellence, THAT is the standard we should judge on.

I can tell you BAMA fans would be livid if they had the #4 overall class.

2018 they were #5 class.

Dude. You consistently crap on Georgia. CONSISTENTLY. Every once in awhile? okay. No problem. But you crap on Georgia all the time. I can't think of a single post in which you said something positive about Georgia.

We got the #4 class and we still have until February to get better than that.

They literally did about Tua.

Right now. I will ban bet you we have kids go in the first round. Put up or shut up. Either one would make me very, very happy.

You start us off and we'll follow your lead. I think we'll be waiting for a while.

You know how many enrollees Bama had that year they dropped below #3? 21
How many do we have currently? 20

If you gauge a class based exclusively on total, you're ignoring context. The class answered most needs. Until we see what we lose to draft/portal/etc tough to know whether any of the losses in this class were that big of a deal.

quote:

Did anyone here say it was the best class in the Kirby Smart era? It's fair to acknowledge that the class was still high caliber in a year with a lot of challenges and a fairly consistent theme of guys staying closer to home.

quote:

And you people on here patting yourselves on the back for the #4 overall class.

Where is this happening? Who's out dancing in the streets today for this EXCEPTIONAL recruiting class? I just don't see it. People can be excited about individual pickups and also slightly underwhelmed with the finish* to this class today... however. It's also not finished until NSD and Portal gains and losses have been tabulated.

quote:

Like it said, it's fine but BAMA beats us again.

This happened already on October 17th. They had an SEC starting caliber Quarterback and we had a complete inability to generate offense in the second half. Last I checked, no one gets a trophy for the recruiting class?

As I laid out for another poster elsewhere who seemed to be hung up on this idea of somehow Kirby underperforming.

quote:

For your criticism to have merit, there has to be someone who could and would have done a better job.

If, Kirby is subpar in your opinion and the results have been "average". Who are ten coaches you would rather have at UGA running the program if you waved a magic wand and could have anyone? Hell... give me 5.

Beyond Saban (in the twilight of his career... though no one knows how long that may last. 0 conference championships in his first 7 years as a head coach) and Dabo (1 ACC title in his first 6 years), who else even makes the cut for consideration?

Lincoln Riley? Addressed already
Seriously... who else?

Ryan Day? we have no significant body of work to judge him against yet... but we did see him damn near choke away a game to Indiana this season with an exponentially more talented team. We know he has done well inheriting a pretty loaded roster from Urban Meyer, but otherwise, do you think he's a long haul top 5 coach?
