Ball has to beat the runner, arrived at the same time so call stands

On the other angle it looks like the ball got there first.

I don’t get why we are so damn aggressive on the base paths. We got lucky but that ball beat Chaney by a mile and it bounced twice.

Collins looked less than comfortable during that AB. Almost got away with a double that I’m not sure he could actually leg out

We will probably lose most of our Friday games. Wagner just doesn’t have the confidence to pitch against SEC teams yet.

Can still win series if Webb and Cannon are sharp. IF.

Because of how Webb and Cannon returned from injury, didn’t want to disrupt their rest days. Cannon is still on a pitch count.

We are pitching Wagner because CJ Smith is in the tank and it’s him or Woods at this point.

Basically, only way to get by with a guy like Wagner is to put up runs early to take pressure off and we are incapable of doing that as an offense

Pearson in to pitch for Wagner in the 4th
Line out to Harber at 3B
Bunt single to 3rd, nice pick but can’t quite deliver the throw. 1 on and 1 away
Gonzalez throws out the runner at 2nd on a failed hit and run, 2 out and nobody on
Pearson gets the strike out swinging to retire the side

4-2 Aggies through 4

Connor Tate strikes a bomb to left and King doubles right after!

Cole Tate and Rogers strike out to retire the side and strand King

Good news is we chased Saenz off the mound, bad news is we have amassed 12Ks in the process

4-3 Aggies in the 6th

Pearson with a leadoff walk
Fielders choice, 6-3. Runner on 2B and 1 away
Kenny pulling Pearson for Gowen
Gowen gets a swinging K, 2 away
Intentionally walk the next batter to put runners on 1B and 2B
Full count walk to load the bases
Gowen gets the K to retire the side and escape danger

4-3 Aggies through 6
