I'll give some credit to talent evaluation and coaching, but most of what they did last year was luck. They struck gold with a haul that produced 3 1st round D-lineman. That is very, very rare.

While rare, (3 1st round picks) lets not give Clemson some mystical powers.

The three DLinement that were drafted in the 1st round were all highly rated recruits.

Ferrell-4* .9468
Wilkins-5* .9893
Lawrence-5* .9993

Even Mullen, their 2nd round pick was a 4* .9679

Don't get me wrong. Clemson still developed them and got them there, but I don't think we should feel like they have not been recruiting well. At the critical positions (OLine, DLine, QB) they have recruited very, very well.

That said, if y'all want to talk more about this (And I am ALWAYS willing to give my opinion ) we should probably move this to another thread. I don't much want to turn our recruiting thread into a Clemson recruiting thread.

Finding Isaiah Simmons is also impressive, dude is a monster and he was only rated a 3 star

Before I moved to Floyd County, I lived in Rose Creek at Towne Lake right across from Hobgood Park.

Look at all the Towne Lake people. IMO it's the perfect suburb at the moment, sandwiched right between the lake and Downtown Woodstock.

It was nice.

Until you factor in the traffic, idiotic HOAs, etc. Floyd County is a hell of a lot nicer to me.

I wasn't able to attend but the wife and son watched Lee Hunter play. He does a great job clogging holes and making the tackle. He didn't penetrate the line often to presure or sack the QB. He jaws a lot, proably knowing the meaning of the game and his ranking as a player. The second half he wasn't as affective nor as quick. May need better conditioning once recruited. I hate I missed it but I may get to see him later during playoffs.

Just assume everyone that matters for the next 3 classes will be there because that’s pretty much the list
