It is definitely a good feeling to know that as good as Pappoe is, he would only be the third highest rated commit in our class.
Most years for most teams, he would represent the crown jewel, make or break type of recruit. Shows how good this class is for us right now.

It’s not as good as some of the other boards that’s been brought up but the Gumps are whining pretty hard right now too. I honestly wonder how many of Alabama’s fans played sports at any level and I’m almost sure every one of them wraps their newborns in Mossy Oak apparel.

Every UGA news post get Alabama trolls now. They never considered us a threat before. They need a desperate play in the NCG and it worked give Saban and Tua credit no one else has the leeway to pull their starting QB in that situation.

It means that the reports were likely true. He left with no committable offer and there were rumors of a less than great attitude during his time on campus. We're either looking elsewhere or we feel good with what we've got on campus already + committed + Walthour. Maybe Tymon Mitchell sees a look or someone else..

It's possible he knew he wasn't having his best day and got frustrated. That pretty much happens to everyone at some point, just a bad day for it to happen to him.
I think he should be a solid player. Hopefully we have good options waiting in the wings.

Yeah, that's why I've avoided some of the other terms that I've seen other people use for him

Unfortunately, that's the way so many fans act when a recruit ends up going somewhere other than the school that team is a fan of.
If you go somewhere else, you're a bitch or some other terrible word apparently. Take a look at the LSU recruiting board. It's legitimately scary sometimes the way 50 year old men get offended about high school kids going to a different program.
And yes, I'm aware that we unfortunately have some fans who do that as well. As always, this rings true:
