We will hold on to him. Like most kids, he is enjoying his recruitment and making the most of it.

Nothing is a guarantee until signatures are on the line that is dotted, but I wouldn't lose a moment of sleep over this one.

It’s by far the worst UGA forum that I’ve ever been a part of.

It is what you get when you take a facebook comment section and culture it in a Petri dish...add in the horrid mutations of the AJC readership...from it emerges a mangled mess of misinformation.

Great toilet read.

Probably that he is happy to be on Auburns commit list, but also aware that if he decides to go anywhere else at any time, he will have a guaranteed spot wherever he chooses.

Why did Fromm's brother choose AU?

Because we already have a better TE committed in Ryland Goede and are only taking one this cycle

I get that but AU? Really? He had more offers on the table. I guess I just don't get what people see in AU in general, especially with a UGA legacy.

I'd go Vandy or UNC and have a legit degree.

None of us like auburn, but they are a respected SEC school. If you want to play college football at a high level, you could do way worse than Auburn. For a kid like Fromm, he gets a chance to play in the SEC west at a school where his family can realistically visit and watch both sons play. Makes sense to me at least.

I hate Aubies as much as the next dude, but there is nothing wrong with that school in reality. He can get a fine degree there, it's not far from home for him, and it's more of a football first program than Vandy. The Vandy *degree* may have more value, but it's not by as much as you'd imagine, and it comes at the expense of putting a lot of effort into a sport to know that you'll likely still come up short most of the time as a team collectively. That's not an insignificant component of the decision if you're used to winning.

Some people have different priorities. Not everyone goes to school, solely for an elite education.

He’s a relatively high rated recruit who I’m sure would love to play in the NFL. You still think Vandy or UNC is a better option for him?

No doubt he has a spot. Also looks like his buddy Clark is wavering on AU now.

Ok fine. He doesn't care about books. LSU or SCAR then.
