Y’all don’t make me click on this thread just to read unnecessary pissing and moaning over petty shite. If it isn’t a legitimate update about a recruit start a new topic elsewhere and troll there. Mike is good people for bringing competing info over here and he should continue to do so.

Speaking of... I'm probably about due to get started working on this year's... I have not been diligent this off-season due to work load. Will see if I get enough time to put anything together in the next couple of weeks. Maybe best to wait for big weekend reveal anyways though.

Not sure where our CB board is at this point honestly... I know we really wanted Booth, but looking like he ends up at Auburn (at least for now). Dude hits like a truck, so not terribly sure I want to see him as a gamecock.

Pretty sure that's the current pulse of it, yeah. In addition to Jalen Perry who is already committed. Just not sure how many we're planning on taking.

Idk, but if we can add Daniel, Dean and Davis to this class, the defense is about to be STACKED.
And that's without Pappoe, who I'm still not giving up on a late flip push come December.

Not counting him out, but it seems like his motivations have been centered around seeing the field fast... I don't see anything between now and the end of the year changing that story, so his primary factor(s) would have to change in all likelihood. Even if Auburn has a good year, it likely doesn't change anything as there will be a void at ILB after this season. For us... if we have a great year again, it likely hinges on guys doing a good job collectively at ILB filling the Roquan gap (and thus getting a firmer grip on the position going into 19). If we don't have a great year, I don't see that moving the needle for him too much.
Happy to be wrong, as I like him as an athlete, but also not terribly concerned about him as I see how we're shaping up. I think it would be a mistake for him not to come, seeing how Roquan basically made his bones on a pretty good sophomore season and a stellar junior season. Significant early playing time doesn't seem to actually have that much impact... if anything, it would seem to work against you if you set a high bar and then don't perform at that level or higher in the subsequent seasons.

Last I heard, Cine was a take and a real possibility. He would be a good one.
Also, DJ Daniel is on commit watch. I wouldn't be surprised at all if we got 3 more commits on the 28th.

I agree. Would love to have Pappoe, but if we get Trez Marshall, Nakobe dean and Rian davis we won't miss Pappoe as we thought. let one or more of those guys go elsewhere and we would have to take another look. but with Quay Walker in the fold from last year, I think we would still be loaded at ILB.

Still somewhat early in the process for him (south Florida kids almost always go to Signing Day) but we're in really good shape at the moment. Rusty seems to think we are at least equal with and likely leading over Miami.
