Owen Pappoe, the top-ranked outside linebacker for the 2019 national recruiting cycle, set a Nike Opening regional record with a 147.12 SPARQ testing score at an Elite 11 camp just outside Charlotte on Sunday, according to Dawg Nation’s Jeff Sentell.

I posted it to help Chainsaw put the Dean vs Pappoe comparison into prospective

The better ceiling as an athlete...

Dean will likely contribute early and often wherever he ends up. Pappoe is undersized for ILB and a little raw still... Would take both and not flinch, but if you ask me which one I want as a Dawg, it's probably a slight lean toward Dean for me... With that said, I still want us to try and get Pappoe back into the fold.

4* John Rhys Plumlee just commited to UGA. I believe we may have found our QB for this class. Apparently he’s a bad arse all-around player who could play WR if QB doesn’t work out. Love the pickup

The kinda guy you take when your first two QBs figure to be in control for a few years. Good athlete that provides depth and is pretty damn talented. Good get. I honestly expected a low 3 this year based on our positional depth.

Going to play baseball also could start at center.

It's commitments like this that confirms we can all relax and trust Kirby and his staff.

I know it's hard; I'm a lifelong UGA and Atlanta sports fanatic. Some of my first memories are listening to Munson call the games while following along on TV. My formative years consisted of the Braves teasing a boy's emotions with the taste of a championship, only to repeatedly crush his heart. The Falcons, who proved no matter how long you've been watching football, there's always a new way to lose. It's easy to give up. Instead, by some masochistic rationale, we embrace the lifestyle. There's always next year!

It looked like missed out on a decent QB. A three star QB, that some called underrated, who seemed like would be our best shot at signing what could turn into a legitimate QB down the road. Here we go again.

Nope. We counter by signing a four star. A four star that also provides depth at WR. It's like Kirby waited for the other kid to commit, let us worry, and then have this kid announce his commitment. Just to remind us.

Wow, I'm more drunk than I thought. Typing that was somewhat cathartic. I also almost fell for it, again!

We fukt. Mark Richt had lost control of Kirby! And Kirby Puckett....

And Kirby Puckett's eyeball.

Alright, 9 commits, less than 3 months till kickoff, it's time to start taking this shite seriously and giving Dallas the hundreds.

Dallas, ASSEMBLE!

What is the board's confidence level with Travon Walker, and does anyone know what the timeline is for his commitment. TiA

Very high confidence. Battling Clemson, Bama, and SCAR in that order. He wants to commit before his senior season.

The Plumlee kid is a great athlete and an even better person. My wife teaches at his school and he’s always real nice to everyone. I think his sister is enrolled at Georgia too. Glad I get to continue cheering for him in his college career.

Good to see them having fun recruiting when so many coaches out there dislike it.
