That’s a trump card if ever there was one. What’s the next level beyond Cootieship? Not just we will get him into school but he’s already here and we will give your family 2 scholarships if you sign.

I really wish we could've had Hinton, is Tray Scott a good recruiter? You never hear any of the kids say his name.

Scott landed a really great DL class this cycle. Hinton comes from a Big 10 family and nothing short of Harbaugh being fired was going to put him off that path

Questionable at best, IMO. DL recruiting is where we need to seriously up our game.
ETA - Apparently top 10 as seen above, but I want the DL Pittman.

agreed, we have some ok guys but we've yet to put together a class of monsters. Didn't Kirby personally handle Smith and Walker's recruitment? What good is Scott doing then? I honestly think we should've kept Rock. He had a bad year that one year but I thought he was a better recruiter.

Rock could recruit but was lacking in development. Garner could do both but was a sleaze and a mooch. Scott can recruit wel enough but it’s his development we are after. Worked wonders on a thin, hurt DL this season. Kirby and the DC can make up for the lack of recruiting prowess

We gave Garner a damn raise EVERY.SINGLE.YEAR. He did turn out to be a serious mooch.

I can't help but think that we would be in a much stronger position if Kirby hadn't misused Fields all year.
We lost the best UGA QB prospect ever. Pied piper left the premises and likely headed to Ohio. In hindsight, a red shirt year would have been better than the ridiculous way Fields was used.
