I still don't understand why fans communicate with high school kids on social media. It always does more harm than good. Look at Derrick Brown as an example. He got into an all out war with a UGA fan, and within days UGA went from the clear leader to a long shot.

Fields, at the Opening, says he may wait to decide in-season. If that's the case and he's not just playing the media, then we'll almost certainly end up with Corral who wants to decide in late July after he makes his east cost trip. I feel like Fields isn't going to speak a lot of truths to the media though, so I wouldn't put too much stock into what he says this week.

If Kirby's smart, he'll explain to every recruit, and their family, that no anonymous person on the internet represents UGA. They could be fans of another school. Wouldn't shock me to find out that some programs pay internet trolls to cause trouble. Whenever I hear about some "fan" getting into a twitter or FB war of words with recruits and families, I'm immediately suspicious.

I don't know if it was an actual UGA fan, but his twitter page was littered with UGA references. If we're talking about the Brown incident, the guy looked to be in his late 40's

I'll be in Portland tomorrow, so I'm going to donate to the Justin Fields UGA foundation. I'll probably go buy a Florida or Auburn hat to wear just in case my $100 handshake(s) don't go as planned.

His recruitment has been weird. Went from having us, LSU and Bama in his top group to announcing that Michigan State is his leader.
