Actually it's more of an indictment on Gus that he's struggled so bad with QB's from HS.

Which is ironic, since Gus is a glorified HS coach, anyway.

I just looked at our 2018 class on 24/7

If you're just checking out what we currently have in our class and making that assumption, just log off.

I was deeply disappointed to discover that I'd already downvoted this post, but pleased at my ability to identify autistic screeching in the Recruiting Thread.

When one of those "3*" have offers from Bama, Ohio St, Michigan, USCw, Tennessee, Florida and Auburn, do you really need to question the staff?

This^^^^
I go by the offer list much more so than "stars". The guys who have million$ depending on it know what they are doing. The guy who's never played and has a website....not so much.

I'm relatively new here but it seems to me that when we have really good news a few posters come out with negativity. Are these imposter NATS or Gator fans?

There's honestly no telling. I don't claim to know much about the Xs and Os of recruiting, but I try to poke my head in here for the Jimmies and Joes aspect of it. It's the only year-round component of CFB.

It makes feel the same way...in all honesty i would rather us land Fields but I'm not going to complain for a second if we land Corral...

Maybe if we land him he will bring his 5* WR teammate with him

How are we feeling about Salyer at this point? If we could get him and either Fields or Corrall to go along with Zeus we'd be pretty much set.

I think we feel great about Sayler at this point. We aren't even close to finished after either Fields or Corral. We are in the top 2,4,5 for a lot of our top guys. We got a lot of work to do and I still think we finish top 5-8. Anderson is someone that we need to work on getting back as well.

Yeah, he's a guy I really want, considering we're about to lose Carter and Bellamy. We could use another OLB pickup.

Everything IT said.
Wynn, Jackson, Hill, Fields, Johnson, etc.
Probably a few misses and one or two out of nowhere. A few '19 guys rumored to be close as well.

And so does Clemson. Lead 247 National writer, Steve Wiltfong, said yesterday he's sticking with his CB of Salyer to CU because of his relationship with Lawrence. On the other side, 247 Mods UGA think the Dawgs are leading, but not by much. I don't know how anyone could feel "great" about Salyer.

Makes me feel like our coaches are unsure about Fields and want to keep options open. However, it also tells me the coaches prefer Fields over Corral. If not, they would be trying to get Corral to commit, not slow play him.
