What happens if we get more recruits than we can sign. Imagine Campbell, Bush, Sandidge, Walker, and O'Neal all committed to UGA, on top of David and Walthour? Unlikely, but we would be stuck.
Just a wild guess, but if I had to pick one in the group we do not get, it would be Bush. And Walthour may not qualify...I haven't heard anything lately on Walthour's status as far as qualifying.
You have to recruit more than you can take or you will get stuck with open slots.
We'll know in about a week.

Here’s the bottom line with Sandidge, though, something has kept him from committing to South Carolina when all signs pointed toward it.
Yeah,it's probably that they suck. Sandidge found himself in a position of need when Trent declared. You'd have to be really dumb to pick Boom over Kirby if Kirby really wants and has a need for you.

They were 9-4 and are showing improvement. I would hardly say they suck.

Boom is a very good defensive coach, and has gotten plenty of defensive players to the league.
Sandidge also may see a shot at more early playing time at SC and if he just wants to be in college 3 years instead of 4, that might be the place for him.
Granted, I think there’s a big need for him in Athens and our future obviously looks a lot brighter than SC’s. But at the same time, there’s more to just picking a college than who you think is more likely to win the National Championship.

The discussion is like Filet versus Sirloin. This kid doesn’t really care because he is used to eating processed meat at McDonalds. He is just happy to have fresh steak from either of the two programs.
Fortunately for us, if he comes here he will get prime rib before the playoff game next year. Lol
Ultimately, he knows if he takes care of his need of things he will get to the pros from both platforms.

Anybody notice that the Dawgs have the #2 Composite class trailing tOSU by 2.15 points. But Rivals and ESPN have the Dawgs at #1 with a considerable lead even with tOSU having 2 more recruits. Sign Campbell and this class should be unanimous, Historic and waiting to beatdown the competition for the next foreseeable future

I believe they (247) messed with the rankings to create drama and storyline on the 2nd.

Sadly, I think you're right. The ESD isn't going to change anything other than when the vague clickbait article ledes start trickling out on Twitter. Instead of January, they'll migrate to Thanksgiving-ish, since the majority of kids will sign in December.

They definitely need something to generate a lot of excitemen this year. I would imagine this year they will lose a lot of views because people are adjusting and likely missed the him of NSD1 and most of the heavy lifting is done so less people will be interested in NSD2.
I could see NSD1 becoming a bigger deal in the years to come.

Did they sign somebody else? When they went ahead of us, they signed 1 more kid. now they have two.
ETA
Yep. Kid named Chris Olave committed to them a couple of days ago. 3* WR. They have room for 1 more now, I think.

UGA will for sure be #1 after it's all finished. And if everything goes well it'll be a near record composite score.

an insider on the Hair of the Dawg board (Dawghammarskjold) is saying we may not get Bush. #montyG-ing
Smart and Coley are recruiting Antoine Green out of Rockledge, Fl at 6'3". He is only a 3 star, but many think he is a true 4 star talent.

Green is a 4* now.
I don't understand why anyone would be confident we get Bush, tbh.

Agree - have felt that way for awhile

Our 247 board is saying Bush is headed to Ole Mess? really?
Posted on 1/31/18 at 7:49 am to Croot
I know I am a big homer, but I really feel we have space issues going on. Don’t see us getting either to be honest.
Posted on 1/31/18 at 7:50 am to Croot
I would find that very surprising.

Same here. With so many schools getting in on him late, and him getting pressure to stay close to home, I would be surprised if we did get him.
As for Green being a 3*....wasn't Wims a 3*?
