I just looked at the changes on the composite rankings. Yep, it benefitted tOSU and Bama
Campbell would lockup the #1 spot.

Ludicrous, ESPN has Channing Tindall at #220, that is laughable, do they actually even try to scout players?
Posted on 1/25/18 at 3:37 pm to DaWGfan01
Tindall is #23 on the 247 rating (not composite, but their actual rankings), but #220 on ESPN, how is that even possible?

I pay 247 nothing and I see CBs.

I see the CBs on player profiles which is the only page that I visit. 247 doesn't have my credit card info.

What they changed is you can't see who makes what pick. So it is harder to tell who is trending or if the picks for your team are coming from decent insiders.

Who are you wanting to know about CB wise?
Posted on 1/25/18 at 7:43 pm to SumterCoDawg
On the player profile page I can see each CB for that player along with the name of the picking analyst. I still don't understand your problem.

Then you're looking at predictions for players that took place before their new policy came into effect. If you look at Justin Fields CB list you can see what analysts like Rusty, Kipp, Demetric Warren, etc. picked. With the new policy you won't be able to see who those guys are picking. It'll all look like this:

One last push for Reece this weekend for an OV

This is a great example of why I laugh every time I see someone call Carvell a UGA homer:
WTF
Some random, unsubstantiated rumor and he retweets it LOL

I'm not defending Carvell, because I don't like anything about the AJC coverage of UGA. But, this may be intended as a poke at the "analyst" who said that, if it was actually said. It would be very difficult to hide a million dollar payoff to a recruit. Never say never, but I doubt Kirby or any other coach would be so stupid as to do that, or would be unaware of some booster trying to do it.

If that was the intent, would make sense to retweet with a comment indicating that.

It depends on how ridiculous the comment is. Some things are so obvious that they don't need to be explicitly stated. If a "Scout analyst" actually said that, he'd better have very good evidence and I seriously doubt he does. Just by retweeting the statement without comment, Carvell may focus some heat on the analyst who said it.
