Salyer looks like a damn mountain.

Definitely on board rooting for Tommy Bush. I've been wanting an aTm-style WR forever.

According to that list, we have the numbers 2,3,4,5 and 6 highest state recruits out of Georgia, one of the most bountiful states of HS football talent in the nation.
Seems like Kirby has gotten through to these kids that they should be earning championships for their home, not the neighbors.

Never saw Salyer's video linked in this thread. Was pretty cool. Apologies if Germans...

I think that's what the kids these days like to call "swagger". Goddamn.

Took a pic with him earlier. He's shorter than you'd think but thicker (muscle). Just an all around awesome kid. We're lucky to have him.

Just looked him up... quote from his dad after UGA visit:

“I honestly think this was one of the best officials we have been on. We still have two left. This was one of the best and I don’t even know if we are taking the last two. We will discuss that after the fact or if he knows where he wants to go, then we will punch that ticket and let the other two schools know. I mean it was absolutely awesome.”

In Kirby's shout out today, he mentioned wanting a WR in this class with the others
Was just going to say after looking over the class, the only minor blemish is the lack of a fast and taller 6-3 to 6-5 guy that can go high point that ball.
I trust Kirby and Coley to go and T-1000 that kid by Feb.

We lose Wims after this season, but we have Matt Landers who redshirted this year, and is that guy.... according to our defensive starters who have to practice against him on the scout team.
There are two more of those tall go-up-and-get-it guys also already committed to the 19 class.
Sure, we could use another, but I wouldn't call it a desperate need right now, with Nauta, Landers, Godwin, Mecole ready to go for 2018...
...and Swift/Cook on the wheel route
(and flashes of greatness in lil' Krumpton or however you spell his little arse name...)

Here was a decent write up from another board...
On phone right now (apologies in advance for shitty copy/paste formatting), may edit with my own thoughts later but it's a good start, if not entirely accurate, it's not far off...

"We are almost out of space aren’t we? Can we go over or sign some in January like if Roquan goes pro? Hard cap for us of 25? How many signed now? How many committed but not signed?"
Hard cap of 25, yes. It's been thought we had a cap of 24 with current players on the roster, but I can't imagine Kirby not being able to find a way to manipulate that into 25 spots if he needs too.
As of right now, including Tindall, we have 19 signed. Leaving 6 spots, not including our 4 committed players. We have 4 committed players that are all still on the back-burner for now, most likely due to all 4 being graded as 3 star recruits.
It's interesting that we had six 3 star recruits committed, which was one of the things bringing our overall class grade down which was allowing OSU to be ahead of us in the projected ranking. But so far the only two of those six we have actually taken have been the OT Condon, and the punter Camarda who some services think is the best punter in the country, but still only a 3 star because...kickers.
The other 4 commits that have been rumored for a while to possibly be on the outside looking in:
DT Jordan Davis - LINK
LB/S Aaron Brule - LINK
DT Tramel Walthour - LINK
S Rachad Wildgoose - LINK
But players that are still in the mix we are probably waiting on before deciding on those 4 is an impressive list:
TE Luke Ford - #2 TE in the country
WR Tommy Bush - a 6'5" WR to take the place of Wims. #37 WR
DT Michael Thompson - the #2 DT in the country.
OLB Quay Walker - #3 OLB
ILB Otis Reese - Similarly ranked ILB to Tindall
CB Tyson Campbell - #3 CB, from Miami
CB Isaac Taylor-Stuart - #4 CB, from Cali
It's going to be an interesting period between now and February! My guess would be both Ford and Bush have spots if they want them. Saw a report earlier that WR Ezzard has scheduled an upcoming visit to UGA too. Ford is probably the only TE we would consider; but the WR spot might not be settled until the the final day in February. I would imagine Kirby is going to use the momentum of this historic class to try and spend the next two months enticing one of the higher rated uncommitted WR prospects to come in for a visit.
Obviously the DT Thompson would be an instant take. Davis and Walthour might be waiting on his decision to find out their fate(s). I would hate to think Wildgoose wouldn't have a spot, considering how good his area has been to us, we don't want to rock that boat. But..he's likely a S, not a CB; and the state is stocked with top S talent next year. It could be he is having to wait on Campbell and Stuart both turning us down before he gets to sign. Wouldn't be at all surprised if we land one of those top CB's. Much like Wildgoose being a backup plan above, Walker and Reese are probably looking at one spot between them, with Brule being the backup plan if both decline. The plan is likely hope for the best, but have a replacement waiting in the wings.:
TE Ford
WR (not yet in the mix, or Bush/Ezzard)
DT Thompson top priority; with Davis and/or Walthour waiting in the wings.
LB Walker or Reese; with Brule waiting in the wings.
CB Campbell or Stuart, with Wildgoose waiting.
And finally, the highest rated remaining guy from that group that we can sign.

I'm going to attempt the Vince McMahon gif. What 7 recruits should I put in there and in what order?

Those 3 stars that didn't sign early who you'd expect to be the first ones to do so probably don't have a spot anymore.
The recruiting staff is in a tizzy with blood in the water.

They said on Espn that 3 of the top 10 in GA were qbs and obviously we were going to only sign one
