Not arguing that point. He may have some sort of academic issue (though that article seems to imply that he has picked things up in that department), but if he can get into UGA with them, he can get into Bama with them. No question.
It's sour grapes, but it could be worse. They could be like UT fans and wishing for him to break a leg or tear an ACL.

My only objection to that was you took a chance on Emmons and got him in so I don’t see why you wouldn’t take Joseph.

I get what you're saying, but I don't have first hand knowledge of anyone's academic standing.
We also took Barmore this morning and there have been recent reports of him not having the grades to qualify.
Again, I'm leaning towards sour grapes from our "insiders" because they were blindsided.
I even mentioned this to Americus in an email yesterday. He didn't tell me the secret, but I said I wonder if our "insiders" were legit because there had been zero negativity on their end regarding any of our commits.

Rumors seem to say that Woodbury will flip from OSU to FSU at ~8:30 tonight. If so, we take over #1 class per 247. Regardless of rank, what a haul (so far) and what a day!!

Crazy that bama waved off academic concerns and had no problem taking Joseph's commitment up until dinner time on signing day then miraculously passed on him as UGA signed him

there is a 0% chance that Bama turned him away for Grades and he landed at UGA....0%. List 1,000,000 other reasons and I'd be OK, but that ain't one.

At the end of the day, both schools wanted to take him and UGA may have won or may have been willing to take the risk vs Alabama taking the risk. Either way a good day for the Dawg camp. Let's get that #1 spot!
