Unfortunately we have learned that the 2018 Recruiting Thread is rated PG-13 and I can't back up that fact with pictures.
Sir, I'm sure that the GSB won't mind if you made a thread of said pictures.

Anyway. One use for pelts was, when how's got the funk, they shaved them and made merkins with pelts to cover their hatchet wounds.
God bless the American merkin farmer.

Any reason to believe he will sign early? Haven't seen a good indication one way or another.
I saw a post on 247 indicating that a member of Luke Ford's family had passed away. I don't know for a fact that it changes his timing, but I'd assume football's not his top priority right now.

I feel like I shouldn't Google this at work. But I really WANT to.

Hopefully you did it in an incognito mode window... or otherwise your Google search autocompletes are about to be fun for a few days/weeks.

No, but I'm not worried about it. I'll double-check my typing.

To get back on topic-ish, for anyone wondering how Jeff Sentell would recover from the momentary chaos caused by his comments about Salyer possibly delaying his commitment/signing... LINK
Apparently, the strategy is just to pretend like you didn't say it at all...
I say this as a guy who doesn't hate Sentell. He's not exactly "Mr. InTheKnow" but he's not bad and generally has been pretty on the mark with guys that we should expect to trend away from UGA which is somewhat rare in the recruiting news world. That said... a little egg on the face will be washed away by the time early signing period has come and gone.

Jamaree Salyer has made up his mind. He does plan to commit and sign with the school of his choice on Dec. 20.
There had been some indecision about that during the last few days, but it appears he has now made up his mind.
This choice comes at the tail end of his official visit this weekend at UGA. The 6-foot-4, 345-pound prospect has never released his finalists, but Clemson and UGA are the perceived finalists for this decision.

Also... somebody get the GA named "Alex" a raise or something...

What was the ‘extra’ that UGA did after (Tommy Bush's) official visit?
The power outage and subsequent flight delays at Hartsfield were unforeseen. But sometimes adversity can create a window into the way people actually are. The Bush family saw that from Georgia.
“I immediately called them,” Annie Bush said on Monday. “They were on top of getting us another ticket. It wasn’t even their fault again today. It was just crazy here. We even got here early and still ended up being on standby.”
She went on to praise the effort made by the graduate assistant who accompanied them around town.
“Alex was our driver all weekend, and he was outstanding,” Annie Bush said. “He spent the whole day with us even through this ordeal and was on his way back to Athens but didn’t make it. He had seen the news or something so he stopped and stayed in the area just in case.”
“So he was able to come immediately back. He took us to a hotel and then took us to eat and even sat with us. … I even texted one of the coaches and said this guy was just outstanding. This was how I know my kid would try to help out somebody. I hope that the staff at Georgia will be sure to thank him for that. I know this was his job, but he went a little above and beyond all the time for us. … All of that was just so touching to me.”

Who was Jeff’s big surprise commitment?
Posted on 12/18/17 at 4:32 pm to Dawgfan77
Surprise commit could be Henry.

I have defended Sentell in the past. Hell, he covered me and several teammates in high school back in his augusta chronicle days.
That said, he has looked really bad for the past few days. The Salyer thing was very poorly sourced/vetted at best. Similarly, I wouldn't put much stock in the "big surprise" thing.
I guess chip and seth's less than stellar journalism is starting to rub off on him.

Most likely would be Parsons? Henry would definitely be a surprise, but seems less likely. If it's someone other than Parsons, my comment earlier either here or elsewhere (can't remember now) - was either A) he oversold the "size" of the surprise and it's someone that most of us were expecting or B) it's someone legitimately off the radar... just can't think of a lot of guys that we'd be surprised to get that we have a real shot at (or room for).

Strongly considering an "administrative" day.
