If the new recruiting rules go into effect it will hurt us to sign a smaller class. There will be no more back counting to the previous cycle.

I think Adam Anderson of Rome HS (Already committed to us) is going to blow up and be a big, big player for us. A lot of character.

LT or RT. It's not at all clear that Wilson would beat him out. Hayes has a couple years in JUCO over him, but I don't think anyone would argue that Thomas isn't more talented.
OT is actually a spot where highly-rated freshmen have been reasonably successful in recent years.

Yeah, Anderson is a baller. A player I really like is Quay Walker. I get the feeling if he camps this summer, he'll be a top 100 guy

you think bryant going to AU hurts us any with walker?

A few camps could certainly make his numbers go up. He looks to have good size.

It's absolutely going to be a battle. I believe Alabama is going to be our biggest competition. I do know Quay loves UGA but that doesn't necessarily mean anything in recruiting.

I know the 17 class just wrapped up yesterday, but man looking at the '19 class it could be unbelievable. We look to be in at worst "good" shape with 3 of the top 10 players nationally, and already have commits from a top 40 guy and a top 80 guy.

If we can win the East this year and give those recruits something tangible to believe in our program for, we could clean the frick up!

Not a 2018 topic, but does SI cover the same high school recruiting stories everyone else does? They always seem to write their stories after they read stuff on other websites and try to interpret it.
They listed us as a NSD "Loser":

Another debatable choice. Bulldogs coach Kirby Smart and his staff had already done great work in this cycle before Wednesday by compiling a class that includes one of the best quarterbacks in the country (Jake Fromm), a group of talented offensive linemen and a collection of promising defensive backs, among other coveted prospects. However, Georgia came away empty-handed on its most highly regarded targets on signing day. Grayson (Ga.) High four-star athlete Jamyest Williams rebuffed a late push from the Bulldogs to stick with South Carolina, Solomon announced he’s leaving the Peach State to play for Michigan, Collins revealed he’ll follow Solomon to Ann Arbor, Crisp County (Ga.) High four-star defensive end Markaviest Bryant decided on Auburn, Slaton made the call for divisional foe Florida and Brookwood (Ga.) High four-star linebacker Leonard Warner III settled on Florida State. For Georgia fans, it was a disheartening day of denials.

They must've just skimmed DawgNation.

People keep posting this, but literally no linked article has mentioned it. Do you have a link for this? I'm not saying it's impossible but damn this looming doom of no back counting is getting ridiculous.

fullback. Don't know much about him, but he's probably solid.
Oh he is legit, but for some reason the good guys didn't have any interest.

Going to be near impossible to follow this past recruiting class but in Kirby we trust.
Kirby will certainly have his work cut out for him. I expect for him to bring in a pretty good class - top 5 - but not to the level of 2017 (and not even close to 2019, which will be epic).

Don't think we'll see many scholarship fullbacks judging by Kirby's past comments

Was going to post the same thing. Pwo and earn a late scholarship if available but honestly you don't see that many FB scholarships to top FBS teams.
