That's funny. I don't care who yah is.

Yeah... most thought that situation was kind of weird at first, and then the rumors that it was pure trolling got stronger... kind of became expected. Good pickup for the Tide though.

Don't get me wrong, I hope the Scientology cultist starves in the street. Few things make me happier than a Florida coach who finds a way to step on his own dick in recruiting.

This... I'm not wishing him any success on that front. It's playing out exactly like I predicted once he tried to visit Fields... Piss Corral off, lose that commitment (regardless of whether it was deemed acceptable due to fit or not)... miss on most major QB targets... miss on current MSU QB commit that Dan recruited (has said he's sticking with MSU)... get stuck with either a low 3/high 2* QB out of HS or a JUCO guy that *might* be able to run Dan's offense for 2 years, but is not going to be a draw for the rest of the talent that they want to pull in.
Fast forward to 2018... get throttled because you struggle offensively and have a potentially better recruiting class in 2019 *but* you'll likely be starting a true freshman at QB in 2019 best case... worst case, still trying to cobble the QB position together. Couple that with Dan just not being a very good recruiter... will be interesting to see if he can essentially hire around that deficiency once he completes his staff. McElwain clearly was not able to... which has helped to prove that UF doesn't "recruit itself" as their fans would like to lead you to believe.
I prefer this to him hitting a homerun.

Yes, I was speaking objectively with respect to their QB recruiting. That said, frick a bunch of mud lizards.

Kirby went in-home with Fields last night, which would indicate that UGA thinks he's signing early.

Also Rusty said he spoke with Eason, and was told he would be staying at UGA.
Two pretty big bits of information on QBs...
Did you see that on Twitter? If so look at the date. He is referring to him staying with UGA after Richt left.

I could see a slim chance of JE possibly hanging around thru spring practice to try and get his job back and finish Soph year but he'll be gone after that if it doesn't work out.

Almost definitely won’t start in year 1 at Ole Miss (legitimately may have had a better shot at UF if Mac was still coach), and I have a hard time believing that Ole Miss is going to be making a bowl game any time soon.
No doubt it will be tough for them to make a bowl game. I am hearing that he is trying to get some of the Florida recruits to flip with him to Ole Miss. We'll have to wait and see how that goes, though. I agree that he probably could have started at Florida if McElwaine were there....not so sure with Mullen there, though.

There's no chance of that happening. He's a good kid who needs to play if he has any dreams of an NFL career. He's not playing at UGA. I also don't think he could beat out Fields.

Assuming you didn't intend to reply to me, just I was the last comment? Otherwise, that doesn't look like something I typed.

Yikes. Thought he was all dawg? Doesn’t sound like a good development

Clemson coaches got him to delay....

I feel like this is a smokescreen to create some drama but idk.

This probably tosses the “silent commit” thing out the window for him. Can’t see the coaching staff being too happy about him taking some wind out from under the wings of the crootin machine this close to the first signing day.

Hopefully he has a good weekend in Athens
