#1 JUCO TE just de-committed from Texas and is thought to now be Bama bound. Don't think they're taking more than one.

If we do pick up Ford, how does that affect Fitzpatrick? Are we taking 2 TEs this cycle?

Taking two has always been the plan. Two seniors leaving at the position this year. Two needed for depth.

If we add Salyer, Hill, Campbell, Ford, Cook and Reese, that puts us right at 300.

Not sure exactly where we finish score wise, but I think tops 3 class is very realistic.

To hell with top 3. Sign the #1 class, or are we not going to have enough numbers? Knowing Kirby he may make some numbers.

Blaze is the only senior I believe. Harris was in the class after, but two is the plan I believe.

Also, more cb’s coming in for Hill to the good guys.

We don't have the numbers to hit the top class. OSU already has a very significant lead that I doubt anybody challenges them on.

The Hill CB's are looking good....2 in the past couple days to the good guys.

I noticed that several articles on the Dawgs 247 site are mentioning Ford lately too. May be a really good sign that there is information that we aren't all familiar with.

Edit: Looks like I was wrong about the CB's for Hill to UGA. I notice that Tom Loy also punched it in for us. That makes 3 to UGA in the past few days.

Jordan Davis is the other senior I was referring too. We will take two TE in this class and one in 19. That will keep our total number and class separation at the position in good shape.

Don't think we overtake OSU for the top spot. Even if we hit on all our targets we won't overcome the hay they already have in the barn. As much as we all hate him, Urban is undeniably crushing it on the trail, particularly in Texas. Will be interesting to see if an improving UT under Tom Herman prevents them from raiding a few studs annually

Next to no chance at that... would take some crazy bullshite to even get close... tOSU is bordering 300 already with only 18 commits... 4 Five stars, 7 commits in the top 40 currently, 11 in the top 100, and literally only 2 3 stars at this point... one of which is RB, Master Teague, who is ridiculously underrated. That's some all star/video game level recruiting...

Just need to keep chopping on the recruiting trail as well though... no different than the field.

Don’t forget Holyfield/herrien. Btw what are the chances Cook would redshirt?

Minimal chance of redshirt. Running backs these days are bad redshirt candidates. They can contribute early, especially guys like swift and cook who have experience lining up in the slot and running routes. With the way we have recruited the position for the last few years, there isn't even a benefit to class separation to try and RS a player.

Redshirting high level backs is dumb. He can help us. Running backs are also usually awesome on STs.
