LoCar

interesting. haven't seen anyone use that abbreviation for him. Seen a lot of Zo, but I gotcha now. Capitalization alone, likely would have helped.

Dude is a beast though. Definitely will be good to land him in this class.

Add Myles Murphey - 2020 DE as well this weekend. Definitely going to be packed.

I recall seeing LoCar early in the recruiting cycle when he committed.

Top 100 player, and current UF commit, WR Jamarr Chase is set to visit us for the USCe game. 2 things working in our favor here: 1) Fields, obviously and 2) Aaron Brule is his teammate. If we are set on taking another WR, odds are it'd either be Alontae Taylor or this guy, and I wouldn't be upset if we can flip either one. Although with Elijah Moore having a pretty meh season, you have to wonder if we could end up taking both of those guys.

Apparently we, and Fields, are keeping in touch with Vann as well. You never know how he would feel if USCe keeps sucking and Fields stays on him.

I didn't want to be too mean

I don't know if he's had some injury issues of if his team is just such a powerhouse that it's hard to stick out, but he hasn't done much of anything this year.

I think he only caught 9 or 10 passes all last season. He may be awesome, but I think he may have gotten to 4* on potential and the team he plays for.

He looked shifty as hell in some of his camp highlights. Not sure what his deal is.

Any chance we can snag any elite WRs in this class?

We're pretty heavily invested at WR in 2019 with #1/2 nationally committed. #3 interested. And an outside shot at #4 as a DB.

I believe the primary goal in 18 is to secure a quality slot target... Kearis Jackson is probably that guy. Elijah Moore as others have noted isn't exactly lighting up the world this year in his senior season. We are showing interest in other receivers as mentioned in this thread. Alontae Taylor also in play.

I heard Sheffield from St.Simons was the one being talked about for the DB position. That seems kind of odd if that was him and how highly he is rated at WR. What's the reason behind this?

It's pretty damn great to talk about some of these highly recruited kids, some of them already committed elsewhere, and know that you have a legit chance of getting them. Times have changed, boys.

Quickest way to playing time. It's also our best pitch with the WR's committed ahead of him.
