Think Cook knows situation, and it's been explained how we want to use him. With that said, we won't be sitting there without plan B's and C's in February. We must take Max every year.

Cook should be scared of not getting PT next year.

Really? Whay are you so sure he isn't going to FSU? not arguing...just curious.

Heard that a while back from someone I trade messages with. Saw it posted elsewhere afterwards, and it appears he's considering two teams mentioned.

We're gonna close the back half of the class out strong. 2019 might be our best class ever. Already set at positions of need going into '19 with some big names recruiting for us.

I'm digging roster management and how he's seemingly planning for attrition. Kirby is the best closer in the game. He has a staff that is relentless.

I dunno if you just want to be argumentative or not, but I commented politely that we should create a new thread for the topic if people wanted to continue discussing Holyfield. I would actually be curious what the general consensus is here, but don't believe that the Recruiting thread is the right place to do so.

Multiple people then agreed... just seemed silly to then intentionally derail it again. Was operating from my phone so apologies if my comment didn't really come across with the humor/sarcasm I intended... Spent the evening waiting on a tow as my wife's car decided to crap out on me when I went to go pick up dinner... Wasn't exactly in a jovial mood at the time I posted. On the upside, I got to eat tacos while I waited.

Now... *back* on topic.

I've heard the same as you on Cooper fwiw Americus... I mean, things certainly can change, but I think he's starting to see how many guys they have stacked up at DT that can't see the field now and would appreciate the oppty to go somewhere where he at least can challenge to be a part of a rotation somewhat early.

Think that's appealing to Trout as well. Just got to get him to visit. A good DT, CB, and I'll be happy.

How solid is Walthour? Any chance that if the DTs all start showing a lot of interest that he gets concerned and/or we waiver? I haven't really seen as much of his film, but most of the early comments I read were that he's a bit underrated but likely takes a RS year. From a DT "board" perspective is our ranking something like:

Wyatt
Cooper
Trout
Barmore
Walthour

Or do we think he is higher than some of those guys?

Also, do we think we take 3 DTs given zero *actual* DTs in last class due to Wyatt's failure to qualify?

Still want Campbell at CB myself, really like his film, but really not sure if we can make that pull.

Very. He knows he'll redshirt.

Think it's Cooper, Trout, then the Barmore kid as a backup.

Pretty sure we take three if we can on the D-Line.

Not sure on Campbell, but I think we land a great corner. No clue who, just too many floating around lol.

How about you read back a page and see the order of the post I quoted and your whining?

Guys, your argument is getting a little excessive IMO. Not a huge deal, but I'm sure most people would prefer it wasn't in this thread and was taken elsewhere.

Trey Dean and Tommy Tremble visiting this weekend for Mizzou game. Haven't seen any kind of compiled list like DN usually puts together though. Anyone know who else is planning on visiting? Pretty sure we've already mentioned previously in thread that Adam Anderson should be here, and Justin Fields is probable at this point.

Just heard Mansel on 680...said all the recruiting tickets are gone for Saturday. One HS coach called and
said he couldn't get tickets for his highly recruited kid because "all the top recruits want to go to the game"
