shiiiit... pretty sure that would not be in the cards based on the numbers we took in last year. Surtain, Campbell, Smith... Wildgoose
In that scenario, Wildgoose is almost definitely out unless he can play another position? Smith (who our staff loves) might get a bit wander-ly as well in that scenario.
I feel like best bet is Campbell... just because Rusty might not have written about him yet, doesn't mean no one has. Wouldn't expect anyone way too out there...

I didn't mean to make fun of you. I figured it was a mistake, but I was genuinely interested in your opinion.

I'll be surprised if Wildgoose is in the final class.

Yea hard to see him or Condon in our final class. Smith looks solid though, and he can ball

You are probably right, but I thought Becton would be more tenuous than Condon.

If it goes down like I think it does Wildgoose, Condon and Tannor are out, hell maybe even Azeez. You gotta take the best you can take no matter what to win championships. I think this will be our last year taking offers from kids that won't see the field at Georgia.

Then we dominate that K9Teen class

Not a huge fan of this line of speculation and singling commits out by name, to be honest. We don't know what the board looks like, and it's unfair to the kids.
Not the end of the world, but recruits do read these boards. Nothing to gain by speculation on those things.

This true and a good point.

An auburn fan posted this on SEC recruiting. Any idea what he's talking about?

We picked up a PWO commit from a JUCO D-Tackle, Desi Bigby, fwiw. 6'3 310 lbs per his 247 profile, shows offers from Ga Southern and UCF, also shows that Miss State, Penn State, UTk, and Mizzou showed interest at one point.

I spoke with Desi and I also spoke with a source just a few minutes ago.
Desi Bigby was in communication with support staff this morning. He was told the coaches said he had a spot as long as he could get in on his own.
He took that and ran with it, putting up a commitment post without putting much details in it.
After he put it up, he received a message from the staff and was asked to take it down at this time because nothing had been discussed regarding details of what he was coming as, grades, etc. They also want him to visit later on this fall.
So no, Georgia does not have a preferred walk-on commit as of right now. From what I gathered, as long as the staff wants him in Athens and other things check out, he will come.
We will monitor that.

hell maybe even Azeez.
1st, he's good enough to play at UGA
2nd, his brother goes to Marietta and is a top recruit plus the school has 2 other top 50 players. You don't burn that bridge.

hell maybe even Azeez.

Condon

Kelvin Joseph just decommited from LSU.

Top 50 player in the nation and he's a tall corner, which we know Kirby and Mel love, very well could be the guy Rusty was talking about.

I'm gonna go take a gander at the LSU recruiting board real quick and see how things are going over there...

This is fair. My comments at least were less along the lines of the staff telling anyone to hit the road and more simply the reality of how hard it would be to see the field at DB based on last year's and this year's hypothetical class. I think the staff loves Wildgoose (and I'm also of the mind that they like some of the athletes at that school as well). I don't think they would have accepted the commit that early if there wasn't something there that the recruitniks are missing.
Anyone who thinks that Azeez isn't a part of this class assuming he wants to be is out of their mind. He's got amazing talent in his own right... not to mention the connections that Porter brought up.
