As a placekicker he got beat out by a freshman this year fwiw. He can punt pretty well, certainly had plenty of opportunities with Columbia's offense being pretty rough.

He's a punter..RB is a placekicker so this more about how crappy BR and ML did at punting. They averaged mid 30's in punting with longs of like 44 and 45yds, this kid averaged 45 and had a long of 65yds. Chance of an upgrade there and Kirby took it.

Wow Aubrey Solomon is starting at 2 positions on the East D today..MLB and DT. McBride gets the start at OLB, Thomas at LT, Netori at RG, and Fromm at QB. 2nd string guys are Swift at RB (behind Akers and I have no idea why as every report says Swift was better), Holloman at WR, Bishop at CB, Demery at LT behind Thomas, Slaton at RT, and LeCounte at FS. Game starts at 1pm ET for anyone who cares to watch.

I mean Akers is a top 5 player in the nation. I'm fine with Swift not starting over him.

Did the announcer just say RL is from the Savannah, the same area as Cam Newton?

these guys are idiots. They KEEP ON trying to hype up the indecision and uncertainty on where najee harris will go...dude has been committed to bama for like 9 months and is going to be there on campus tomorrow lol.

Fromm looks decent. Big kid. Lecounte and McBride have looked solid as well.

I guess that's why NBC doesn't get much football coverage. It seems like the announcers only know the names of about 6 players.

That's the biggest thing I wish these games did differently. They LOVE talking about "undecided" players, especially the ones announcing at the game.

I feel like 247 and ESPN also give a little bump to the guys playing in their respective games.

To be fair, there has been a lo of smoke around hi flipping to Michigan until about 3 or 4 days ago when it seemed all but decided that he'd stick with Bama. Not surprised that they're just going on outdated info
