The Bishop video is the least Georgia thing ever. A room of the nation's top recruits telling a camera how many 'ships they want to win. This makes up for the 2013 debacle in so many ways.

Rice is one of the best pure ILB in this class, so he deserves the hype we're giving him

I live in Birmingham and coach HS basketball. Saw him play against our HS's football team this year. Kid fills holes like a monster. There's a reason so many SEC schools were after him.

UGA, LSU, and Auburn were all fighting for the kid. Depth guys don't get that kind of attention. A lot of people have said Rice was the #1 LB on our board. He's definitely a guy worth the hype.

Yup... If there's any doubt about his hype and how underrated most think he is just go read the Rice thread on the LSU recruiting board. They pretty salty about it...

They're salty because they literally have no LBs. I don't think it's just because of how good Rice is.
I think Rice has a chance to be really good, but what people need to remember is, he's basically a gravy pick up. We didn't need him NEARLY as bad as LSU, which is what makes it a really fun get.

Often times rankings are a good general indicator, but aren't the end all be all. You wanna know a kid's worth...look at their offers. Coaching staffs DGAS about star ratings, so if every blue blood in the country has offered a guy you can count on him being pretty good regardless of his ranking. Rice had offers from LSU, UGA, AU, Florida St, Michigan, and Tennessee. Chances are the guy is pretty darn good.
