not really...that Texas fan (not surprisingly, and dont' really blame him) acts like SuperTexas came in cape a blowing to save the day and steal Carter out from us. In reality, most of what he said WAS correct in that we essentially didn't need 2 RBs so we weren't going to take him. It's kinda crappy how it went down, supposedly with one of our assistants telling him there wasn't room for him, but I dont' think Texas played a factor at all until after we bascially pushed him out.

IIRC mcbride was a 5* and very highly nationally ranked as a sophomore, then got hurt and missed his entire junior year, then didn't quite live up to form again his senior year. From what I gather it looks like speed is the one thing anyone ever talks about with mcbride, which is awesome for an ILB but I really hope he's more than just fast. I admittedly don't know a ton about him though other than he's basically been a lock to us for a long time.

There seems to be a contingent of people who believe that McBride is very overrated. Basically they say with the physical attributes he has, he should be absolutely dominating his level of competition but he doesn't really do so. *Not my opinion, just what I've seen elsewhere*.

That car accident set him back last year. When he get on campus the conditioning program will have him set for beast mode in 2018..........I mean SAVAGE mode.

I did say take it with a grain of salt. But this was also a mod, not a fan who said that. Although sometimes those things can be one in the same.

He's had an OV planned for a long time, but he apparently just wants to enjoy a free trip. Most people close to the situation think UGA has nothing to worry about. Kid wants to play in the SEC.
