A lot of the people that post over there (other than the like 3 or 4 people that legit have some connections) just take the SLIGHTEST bit of possibility and run with it. I was browsing over there earlier and the common theme among the people I'm referring to is basically "We just pulled Carter's scholarship and Akers then moved his announcement date up...WE'RE GETTING AKERS"
I like rivals for a lot of reasons but some of the people there are out of their minds.

Not saying there's much of a chance of happening. But I know he liked us a while back. What if Kirby had him publicly drop us only to have him shock everyone and commit here. Dream big

There's been others thinking we're flipping AJ Terrell or Jacoby Stevens too. It's ridiculous. Last year they did the same thing convincing themselves we had silent commits from Greg Little and Derrick Brown.
It's truly an incredible melt to witness on NSD when all of those baseless predictions don't work out.
ETA: Unfortunately, it's impossible to truly see the melt in its entirety because Rivals always crashes...

We aint gettin Akers. Our hat is all the way at the end....can't even reach it from his seat. The FSU hat is in the primo spot.

I was unaware of this. Who all left Tennessee? I mean, I know Hurd did, but he left only after the wheels fell off. They still had enough talent to win the East. The whole SEC was bad this year, but the East was a complete horror show.

I hope you are right, but in a day when your best Juniors leave to go to the NFL, I would say it is more important that your best Juniors provide leadership. If they didn't do it last season, I would have to wonder why they are going to step up this season. Don't get me wrong...I hope you are right.
