I just watched his film. Unreal how quick and powerful he is. Very instinctive, too.

I agree. Must get for the zero technique.

Do we still have a shot with Cam Akers? Haven't heard much about him lately.

So someone explain to me why I shouldn't be melting about Toneil Carter?

Tweeted out that he's 100% committed a couple of days ago, seemed really excited to get his official acceptance letter last week, has talked about how much he wants to play in our pro-style offense rather than a spread system. I wouldn't worry right now.

I'm a little worried. Our backfield is going to be crowded and rumor has it he's a little nervous about that. There are also some people close to him who want him to stay closer to home according to some of the Texas mods.

I'm hopeful we get him, but the odds aren't as high as they were before Texas hired Tom Herman.

Solomon isn't quite on Trent's level, but he's not far off. Having Thompson, Rochester, and Solomon on the DL is just scary. That is a LOT of depth. Beating out Michigan and Bama won't be easy, though.

As far as Carter goes, I'm not worried about it right now. Texas getting involved is slightly worrisome, but he's not a great fit for Herman's spread and I think he knows that. Not saying I won't be nervous later on depending on how the visit goes, but as of this moment I'm not really worried.

We lose Thompson and Atkins off the Dline after 2017 so I don't think the depth would be an issue. He definitely would get a lot of pt in the rotation.

Assuming Chubb and Michel both leave it'll be a wide open competition for the starting spot, I'm sure the coaches have made that clear to him.

Both Kirby and Pittman heading to NY today to see you know who.

I don't really buy it, but Rusty has been hinting the last couple days that Sony might stay.

Put yourself in a high school kids place. A lot of schools calling, and you have a chance to go visit some place and be wined and dined, treated like a king....and it's all paid for. If it were me I would take all five visits. (Of course, I wouldn't commit until I had taken all five) Just because a kid takes his visits doesn't mean he is interested.

We (Georgia fans) seem to fall in the mindset, that if a kid that is committed comes here, it means absolutely nothing, and he is using us for a free visit. If one of our commitments takes a visit some place else, it means imminent decommitment from us.

And, hey....it could, but I am not going to worry every time a kid takes a visit.

meh, committed recruits go on visits all the time. Every weekend. This is commonplace and nothing to sweat.

Let's assume the worst case scenario and say he DOES leave (which is doubtful)...we still have Swift/Holyfield/Herrien going into next year which should be plenty enough talent to move the ball.

That would be awesome but I think it's highly unlikely.

Would be one of the most shocking turn of events I can recall for UGA in recent memory.
