Alabama had those same advantages in 2012, when we made it close. Of course, as you pointed out, we probably played a little over our heads.

All that said, I don't understand why people start asking for predictions/opinions, then down vote somebody because they give their opinion. Our fan base is one that will not tolerate anyone that disagrees with the herd mentality, and it's crazy. If we are going to be that way, and just want validation, then why start these threads.

I do have a feeling that we will win in a close game, though.

24-20 UGA

Same way Auburn beat us? I mean, is it so far fetched to say Alabama wins this game?

I sure hope it isn't a 21-20 game. I don't think I can handle another close one. I hope we pull away in the beginning of the 4th like the SEC Championship

I'm with you on that one. If we somehow pull this one out, I will be on here looking for reactions from our fans, and the Rant, to see what they are saying.

However, if there is one thing I've learned, it is that a lot of people pat you on the back and congratulate you when the game is going your way, then they belittle you and insult us when the games turns.

I agree. Look at how many points Bama has given up in the NCG in each of their last 4 trips

That's what I was hoping would happen in the Rose Bowl

We got a blocked FG for a TD and Murray hit several deep balls that day

Two of those were against Deshaun Watson. In the other two, they gave up 14 in 2012 and pitched a shutout in 2011.

This game concerns me because of the emotional expense from the Rose Bowl.

I’m more worried about the time zone change and quick turn around. I’m still dragging arse, and I got home Tuesday night. The Dawgs will be ready on Monday, but I bet the last few days have been an adjustment.

I don’t see how UGA scores on these guys because Alabama is built to stop the run and will make Fromm look like a freshman I fear. Apparently this is the matchup Saban and his cronies wanted. Probably not the one Kirby and Mel wanted.

Georgia is going to have to win 1-on-1 matchups in space to win the game. I think Alabama is better equipped to bludgeon the ball up the middle all game and have moderate success. Georgia will need to win individual matchups at WR and the backs will have to break tackles in space and turn 5 yard gains into 40 yard gains.

Hate to sound arrogant, but the only aspect of your offense that I’m worried about is throwing to the backs down field. It’s a mismatch and homeruns change games. You have a great running game, but forgive me if I’m not worried about someone running the ball on alabama. Don’t see many long sustained drives from either team, but feel like we’re better equipped for a few of those.

28-13. Tide on top.
