So Chad Clay just got done spending an hour on The Front Row (680) with Steak, Sandra, and Finneran, along with his father, Willie Clay, who actually played for GT before he went to the NFL. Apparently his mother is a UGA grad and played a big part in him choosing UGA over GT. It was pretty cool. This kid is smart and has a great head on his shoulders. No idea why he's only a 3-star.
But they asked him "why UGA" and he immediately said "Coach Pruitt". He said Pruitt is awesome and his scheme is awesome and fits him and then he started gushing over UGA's recent recruiting classes since Pruitt became the DC. He said the talent at UGA right now, and what's coming, is just worlds ahead of anywhere else. He said OSU was actually his second choice, but even they weren't close to UGA in reality.
Then they asked him who the best players were that he's faced in high school at Peachtree Ridge, and he immediately said Kyle Davis and Julian Rochester. And then he slipped up and said who are both going to UGA. And then he corrected himself and said, well right now only Julian is committed.
I'm guessing he knows something we don't. Although I think we all kind of have a good idea Davis is coming here.

looks like there is already one confirmed commit for Dawg night in a few weeks. NO names or anything but if I had to guess the initials would be JL or EH

Ok. When you say confirmed commit for Dawg Night I am guessing you mean confirmed to attend and not confirmed to commit?

I'm pretty sure he means actual commit. The guest list probably has a bunch of names at this point.
