Well he's from Dooly County so there is a decent chance it could be a grade/behavior issue that would make us shy away from him. I don't know anything for certain, just spit-balling

This and he is very raw as a player. He definitely looks the part, but with Manac already committed and UGA pushing hard for Jordan Smith (currently trail Clemson), he’s not a must have.

FYI, big weekend starting today. Brown, Davis, and Robertson are on campus. Robertson brought his mom and Davis has been here damn near all week

He was just ranked in the TOp 50 by rivals. I don't know how he could be in our backyard and be that good and our staff not feel like he's a good fit.
The most likely answer is that UGA's staff doesn't think he's as good as Rivals does.
From his comments, it sounds like he didn't take the workout very seriously. It seems clear UGA didn't see what they wanted to see. I seriously doubt UGA would concede him this early. Who knows what happens down the line?

Also have the whole McEachren crew on campus. Hickman and Simmons and Smith have been around a lot lately

Just saw on auburn board that "Holyfield is now leaning UGA." Don't know how much weight that statement carried, but definitely something since he's visiting tomorrow.

It sounds like UGA is really pushing for Holyfield so I wouldn't doubt it. Sounds like UGA will only sign one RB (2 if Emmons qualifies) so whoever wants that spot might have to hurry.

Well this is his 2nd visit in a week and he'll be there this time with Rochester and hard man, both of whom are recruiting heavily for us

I will take that trade on the auburn butthurt alone.
But yeah, I'd love to see Holyfield in the Red and Black.
