C'mon, man. Let me be optimistic about our OL for once.
I am. If we have to play PWOs at OL ever, we're in deep shite.

This kid looks good. I hope he gets his grades up. It's nice to see a kid who just wants to go to UGA and nothing else.
First thing we need to teach him is to secure the ball through the endzone and not to decelerate at the 2 yard line on the way in.

SCOOOOOOOOT

Hudl has him timed at a 4.57 40... so not a complete burner, adding size makes sense, particularly given a 6'1" frame that may grow still.
Very exciting to see this staff not only point out deficiencies/problems, but taking actual steps that are in their power to correct them as well.

Good article on the pickup along with some insight into the "pitch" and why his offers dried up. LINK
Was not aware that Schumann was largely responsible for the Alabama walk on program improvements.

Looks like we may have added another PWO with CB/RB Prather Hudson 5'10" 185lbs.

Earlier this evening,I ventured over to the Tennessee board to see if they had any discussion about the latest ButchWax RapeGate developments, and noticed that they haven't posted any recruiting updates since Feb 28. I imagine any time Kirby sits in a living room with a kid considering UTk too, he shuts that shite down.
Maybe they should change it to VFML.

There is some chatter that D-Rob will commit to us tomorrow.

Thanks for getting my hopes up on him again...I am sure I will be sorely disappointed...AGAIN

Isn't tomorrow the deadline to send in LOIs?
That might be where some people are getting 4/1 from. I thought carlos made it clear for a while they're going to breeze on past that and wait til summer.

A lot of the beat guys were getting the impression that he was going to do it Roquan-style and skip the LOI all together and just announce a couple of weeks before he arrived on campus - wherever that may be.
Kipp and the rest seemed to be getting the impression that he'd announce sooner than later, and that he may be giving up on the Stanford thing, even though he's made it clear that's his #1.

I'd be willing to bet they are getting that date from it being April Fools day...

April 1... seems legit.

So almost 2 months past signing day...we add PWO's daily, it feels like, and we're still looking to add pieces to the puzzle, and have the room to do so. We're in the hunt for three prospects to add, I believe. Talking about Robertson would just be beating a dead horse. But we're still hard after McDaniel the defensive tackle from Grayson, and Herrien the running back from New Manchester, a school in Georgia I've never heard of...Herrien is waiting on grades and McDaniel is waiting for a class to clear(? I think). Is McDaniel a UGA lean? Seems like the second Herrien makes that grade (potentially), he'd get offered and commit.

This shite I can get behind. Schumann doin' werk. Decent skills with ball in his hand. Lot of dropped "should be INTs" though: LINK
4.48 40 yd
11.3 100M
I like that kind of speed in a versatile PWO.
