I don't know about that insider but Rusty Mansell is in Seattle..at least that's what he said on Twitter. He tried to say he was there for a Pearl Jam concert but I doubt that lol

Word is Mansell is there and 680 will speak to him at 11am. Apparently Eason is getting a POY award then so he should make the statement at that ceremony.

If this is how it plays out, this is a slick move by Smart:
If this isn't just a quick Twitter announcement (Rusty flying out there suggests that it's not), then this will be a "hats on the table" decision much like Godwin. Showing Eason put on the G hat one more time and getting some good momentum going in to signing day. I'm sure Eason would prefer to do it through Twitter, but if it's not, then I suspect Smart suggested he make a big deal about it.

I THINK he stays with us. But, truthfully, it wouldn't surprise me if he left. I kind of go along with the train of thought, that if he stayed with UGA he would simply make a statement and leave it at that. Setting a date, time, etc. smacks of a change. I lean one way...then think about it and lean the other. It's really hard for me to decide what I think he is going to do.

Could be. I miss the finer points of subtlety sometimes.
