Kirby Smart and Jim Chaney doing work already. Kirby went to see DT Antwuan Jackson and Chaney went to see WR Tre Nixon. ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconPimp.gif)

Arky Commit Jake Heinrich 4star OG
Said Pittman was the reason he commited to Arky. he wanted to wait and see who they hired to replace Pitt but might end up taking an OV to UGA. Would nice to get this kid to flip. Can't ever have too many stud lineman.
Also there's this guy in the Arky recruiting thread still melting over a position coach

fricking bullshite. frick Pittman. that dude can have fun going to play in that shite offense of Chaney's then. bret has always had good o lines. fricking Pittman didn't make bret. if anything bret raised Pittman's stock. this shite is retarded at this point. we are going to get a great offensive line coach. the kid can go half away across America if he wants and go be in a stagnant offense or he can come here where we put up points his fricking choice.

let me remind you the kid is a Jr in HS.....
I know it can be easily corrected.....however some kids just can't correct a running style. I think it would be more of a problem if he played running back. Safety? No. As long as it doesn't affect his speed it wouldn't really matter at safety. I looked for his 40 time, but didn't see it. Looked like he was one of the faster players on the field, though. It wasn't necessarily a criticism so much as an observation.

Where the hell did that come from? Left field, much? Guess daddy Hockman isn't a Chaney fan.

I am sure that there will be other options for QBs for 2017.

Ouch. I'm hoping he's looking to be reassured a little bit. Long time between now and Feb 2016. I doubt it's in anyway related to Eason since both of them have been committed together for so long. We would be losing a good bit of Hockmans true prime if Eason turns out like we hope. If JE is indeed the savior, At best Hockman may have been the guy 2 years.

Wonder if this has anything to do with Saban flying a helicopter to McEachern and landing it on the field the other day? Teenage kids are "ooh'd and ahh'd" by stuff like that.

It bears stating that this is a DEEP class at quarterback in Georgia for the 2017 class. Really impressed by what I have seen from Davis Mills (Norcross, Ga./Greater Atlanta Christian) and Jake Fromm (Warner Robins, Ga./Houston County).
Pitt(Chaney)was one of the first to offer Mills back in May.....

They already said they were looking to bring in 2 QBs for the '17 cycle anyway. This just means that we need to start looking for 2, rather than one more. I'd love to be able to convince Trevor Lawrence in Cartersville to come play for the good guys in a couple of years.

Doesn't bama already have Fromm committed in 2017? There is more than enough QB talent to go around in GA in that cycle, I have zero doubts we will get someone good.

They already have, imho, the best in state QB for Georgia already in Fromm for 2017. I'm sure Saban talked to him, but I think that was more for Rochester and Simmons.

I think you meant Feb 2017..Hockman is a '17 kid. Radi says UNC likely is a big player for Hockman. Guess 1 yr of good play for UNC is enough to make kids go there? Its funny as Fedora was trying desperately to get out of there last year. Good luck to him wherever he ends up.

from the Chronicle...
"“I just want to represent my state,” LeCounte said. “I think I can tell you that I am pretty popular with other guys, and I will reach out to them.”
That includes Cartersville quarterback Trevor Lawrence, who knocked out LeCounte and Liberty County in this year’s playoffs.
“Yeah I’m going to reach out to him. He’s a good dude. We just need everyone playing together,” LeCounte said. “I have a few other people in mind, too, but I don’t want to say who I am going to go after. We want to build a dynasty at Georgia.”
LeCounte already on the phone...

The few times I saw him play, I was not impressed. Not just saying it now that he decommitted.

That sounds awesome. He can be what Eason has been to the '16 class...except this time with no coaching change to screw it up at the end of the season. I think we are about to witness some stellar recruiting classes coming through the next few years.
