This is pretty much the best 7 years we have had.... We just need one more elite player and better depth. Not sure I can fully blame Fox for that ... We need to do something tangible that shows people we are committed to being a basketball school...

Belmont is a good shooting team. St. Mary's is always tough. If we play with the same intensity as we did against UK, we'll run them out of Athens.

McGarity said there are quite a few things for basketball and other sports including a hanging jumbotron for Stegeman that will be discussed during the May athletic board meeting. Improving the Stegeman interior is the best thing we can reasonably ask for right now

Belmont is 20-11 and won the OVC regular season title. Their best win was probably a home win over Valpo. They played Arizona State, Evansville, BYU, Cleveland State and MTSU all away from home and lost them all.

Evan Bradds shoots 71% and averages 18 and 9. He's a 6'7 forward who will be a load.

Craig Bradshaw is a guard who averages 16 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists. He shoots 44% from the field and 37.5% from 3.

Basically, they're a statistically solid team who can and will beat an unfocused Georgia team. If UGA comes out firing and trying, they won't have a problem.

Belmont shoots a lot of threes. They shoot threes in transition compared to teams who would prefer to have dunks or lay-ups. It's really a scary match-up for UGA. UGA will have to push tempo and make Belmont play fast. Zoning these guys may also prove to be dangerous.

You guys are spot on, Belmont is a very dangerous team. Really hope we play with pace and energy in front of a good crowd, think a great fan showing after the effort our team showed in Nashville would be big for them.

Belmont plays fast, high scoring games. Have to defend the 3 point line and dominate in the areas we have an advantage, the paint and the boards. Will be some interesting personnel matchups. Belmont is very well coached, won at Marquette, beat Valpo and will be dialed in. I'm excited for this game.

By the way if we win that one be prepared for a crazy one in Malibu. St. Mary's is an all white (mostly Australian) team that plays in a gym the size of a solid HS. Very different environment. Would be a fun one.

SMC is in Moraga, not Malibu. But that place gets loud for a small gym and their teams are usually up and down, 3 point shooting teams.

The team that made the final 4 had to win the SECT... They then went on a run... Without Dominique...
