Dawgs have 10 hits today already, 19 over the past 2 days. I know it's Charleston Southern but this has been good live BP for our hitters and a nice way to get some confidence back after a tough weekend. Really need to tear through Wright State, Charlotte, and Lipscomb

Still, the only way this team survives the SEC slate and/or makes it through the season with a winning record (in addition to actually staying healthy) is if it 1.) pads the numbers with these gimme series and 2.) gets reps for the whole clubhouse in these games. May not seem like much but these past two nights have been wins for more than just the final scores; freshmen need the experience and the team needs the confidence.

Dawgs had 4-0 lead with great pitching headed to the 8th. Gist threw a 2 hitter through 6. Now 4-3 top of the 8th with 2 outs...Moody coming on to likely finish 4 out save, hopefully.

Dawgs win 5-3, improve the record to 6-3 on the year

15 pitches already for Holder including a balk and 2 walks

Everybody else in The SEC has one or 2 losses

Dawgs lead 2-0 in the 7th for the rubber match with wright state.

Connor jones got the start and pitched a 1 hitter despite also plunking 3 hitters

Michael curry having a great day at the plate having scored both of our runs and hitting a double

runners on 1st and 2nd with 1 out, top of the order up in B8

2 outs now, runners on 2nd and 3rd with wrenn up

Wrenn with a big single to drive in 2. 5-0 dawgs

Wrenns hit actually turned into a double with throw going home.

5-0 and Moody is trying to close this one out. Just gave up a solo shot to to right to make it 5-1. We've managed to only throw two arms today which is nice for the health of our bullpen
