9-3 with losses to Ole Miss, UT, and UF. Get to ten wins with a bowl win over a pasty faced Big Ten team. Finish the season in the top fifteen. Sets the stage for top five ranking preseason 2017. 2017 signing class finishes at #3.
Lambert starts the UNC game. Eason gets his first start at Mizzou.
Both Malzahn and Paul Johnson are unemployed by the time we play Auburn and Tech.

I'll say 9-3, like most on here. I say we eek by NC in the opener, but it will be close. I say the D Line depth and Eason being a Frosh costs us a few games ( I'm betting like Most Tenn and Florida, and Ole Miss). I also think the game with AU this year is closer than years past. They are due for a good game vs us.
No SEC East Champ this year.
We win our bowl game and end up with 10 wins, excited for the future, but then we realize we lost every game to a team with a pulse and pray for a big year in 2017.
I hope I am wrong, but I can see all of this.

Loss to UNC, OM, UF and either USC or AU. We will lose a game or 2 we shouldn't. Great chance it's @USC after big home win vs. UT.
I'm surprised at how confident everyone is about the UNC game.

They return a loaded offensive group around a qb who has had numerous years in the system, and we don't have a proven offense or defense, so many are being overconfident.

We could win that game in all sorts of ways, including Eason coming off the bench to lead us to victory. After two games, they've seen enough and want Eason to get some experience on the road as a starter before we go to Oxford.

If we beat unc because of Eason, he would start the next game to get ready for @mizzou. Wouldn't shock me to see that happen.

You can always revise yours to make more sense. Would make a lot more sense to give Eason an easy home start to get ready for 2 tough away games.

Each time I look at our schedule it looks easier. With that being said I still think we go 9-3 in the regular season with losses coming to UT, Ole Miss, and Florida. However, nothing in the realm of 8-4 to 10-2 would surprise me with this team. I can't wait to be in Atlanta on Labor Day weekend!

Even Saban only got seven wins his first year in at Alabama, granted we have better players and are not coming out of a near death probation like they were. 7-5 would be about right in my book.
It could be real special if the team gets dialed in by years end and plays well something we didn't see too often under the last guy, whatever his name was....
