Taj Griffin is special. Just as a kick return specialist he'd be awesome.
I've been saying this for a while now but his coaches say he's a heavy lean to Oregon. Although, I haven't talked to them for a couple of months so I guess it's possible that things have changed.

Yes we need to land more of the instate guys! I checked out last years top 15 from the st of GA, and we only got 3 of them. This needs to change

If it's not UGA, then let it be Oregon. As long as it isn't Auburn or Bama.

RB Ty’Shon Williams (about to blow up, so if he doesn’t commit soon, we may be in trouble...Clemson offered last week)

LINK

Dude looks good, think I might rather have him than Taj (just looks small w/ straightline speed).

He looks like everything we hoped JJ Green would be. Small shifty back with elite speed, but he runs through some bigger guys on the video too and breaks many a tackle.

Does he have any camps or visits scheduled to UGA? We have to get this guy. This should be Pruitt and McClendon's #1 priority.

Not even close to being a #1 priority. Would he be a great get? Absolutely, but UGA can win with or without him. It needs great talents at other positions far more.

As I said, my friends who still coach at McEachern told me around playoff time that Taj was kind of enamored with Oregon at the time. But the novelty of that might wear off. It is just a long, long way from home and what seems cool 14 months out starts begging for other considerations as the actual decision time draws close. Don't know that he ends up at UGA but don't think he will select Oregon in the end.

We have a junior day this weekend. No confirmed list yet, but some who are thought to be at least trying to come are Jordan Colbert, Trenton Thompson, Roquan Smith, Austin Bryant, Rashad Roundtree, and Chuma Edoga

Any concerns with the weather coming in? I know these Junior Days are hard to reschedule

I wouldn't worry too much about the weather just yet.

Yeah, the only problem would be if Athens really did get 1/2" of ice that would absolutely frick the powerlines and cause plenty of power outages that may take a day or two to get back in order.

They could probably get some generators hooked up if it came to that. They could at least power critical areas of BM

I think Adam Meadows was the last player from MHS to go to UGA.

Why such a long time?

Really like that kid. Good last minute get. Reminds me of a Douglas situation where he was a last minute get.

I don't think we've offered either of the instate guys even though we've seen them up close numerous times at camps, games, etc. So, no, I don't expect us to take one. Of course, a random transfer would change that.

What do we think about this? Do we buy that you should take a QB almost every year?

I pretty much trust whatever Richt and Bobo choose to do at QB. Only one year have I been genuinely disappointed in QB play since Richt has been here and I don't think we'll have another Joe Cox situation at this point. JMO, I'm sure it varies throughout the fanbase.

I'd rather see us take a run at Torrance Gibson at QB. If that doesn't work out, I'm fine with not taking one
