If I won the lottery, I would enter into an arrangement with a used car lot (paying under the table of course) to where I would buy a new car, grow tired of it after a few months because there's a scratch on the fender, then sell it to the used car lot, and somehow someway (what a coincidence!) our star players show up at the lot at the precise time the lot decides to sell the car. There's a scratch on it so they have to let it go cheap, somewhere around $500 bucks.
You forgot to say you "accidentally" left some $$ in the glove box that you were saving away. Whoops!

That's the thought process of a ton of recruits and it's why I'm never surprised to see guys take visits. This is why fans shouldn't get all hot and bothered when a guy takes a visit to another school. If the roles were reversed, they'd do the same.

everyone on this board seems to think we do.
Key word. Think. We THINK we do. Can anybody on here prove we do? No.

If we know it our coaches know it,
See how you changed it? our coaches PROBABLY do not know it. They probably suspect it. they probably believe we do.

why in the hell if we are a little dirty this way are we testing for drugs like a bunch dumbasses.
NCAA mandated, I think.

You can't tell me that our coaches are ok with hundred dollar hand shakes and wouldn't be ok with covering up failed drug tests.
They may not be "ok" with the $100 handshakes. They may not like them. They may not like that it goes on. How do you think they could stop them? It's like taxes. I am not ok with my tax rate. I don't like my tax rate. What am I going to do?
I deleted my post that you are responding to, because I felt everything have been discussed earlier in the thread. I really could not add anything new.

Gotta call bs on this if the Admin is willing to let boosters give cash, then they are willing to cheat.
I honestly don't believe it is a matter of them willing to allow them to give money....how would they stop it?
If you suspected something like this was going on in your program, how would you stop it? I mean, you might suspect it, and you might actually believe that every school is doing it...but they are not doing it in front of the administration/coaches. The kids are not going to the coaches and telling them about it. You might suspect someone of doing it, but before you do something, you better have hard evidence or you face being sued.

I know i would. I would make a list of all the places I wanted to visit and I would take an Official Visit to a nearby school. Some kids will make it big and be able to go where they want, when they want. Others will be busts and it might be their only opportunity to do some traveling.

My point isn't about trying to stop it. My point is everyone knows it is going on, which makes you dirty as a program. So if you are dirty why not just go ahead and be dirty. You can't tell me that the same thing that happened with all of the failed drug tests with Tyrann Mathieu and them being ignored isn't happening at All the other Big time SEC programs, yet Georgia is the only one punishing players for it.
Georgia and their coaches and admins should get off this high horse shite about drug tests. Like I said in an earlier post it doesn't matter if you give a kid .50 cents or 100,000 dollars if you are cheating you are cheating.

This is my last post in the recruiting thread about this subject don't want to hijack this thread.

The program isn't giving any of them .50 or $100,000.00. That would make them dirty. The program can't control what boosters do out on the streets. Yes, I'm sure the program knows it's happening but they can't stop it. They can stop drug use and other bs like that. You're comparing apples and oranges.

What Auburn did with Cam, UGA would have never done.

I hope Rashad Roundtree is well aware about our safety situation after today. If we don't get him now it'll be a damn travesty
Posted on 6/3/14 at 5:58 pm to dawg-fan#1
What are Taylor's measurements? Each recruiting site have him from 6'0 to 6'2.5

I think he's like he's like 6'1". He could be a SS or an undersized LB, imo. He's fast
