The 2014 recruiting class in Georgia is a big one for defensive tackles, and one of those top prospects plans to make a decision soon.
Marist defensive lineman Kendall Baker told UGASports Sunday evening that he has set a date for his decision.
"I'm trying to make a decision on July 3," Baker said in a telephone conversation with UGASports Sunday. "I plan on making my decision there."
Baker says that Auburn, Clemson, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, and Vanderbilt are the schools he is considering.
One of those schools has been Baker's public leader for months and according to the Rivals250 prospect, that is still the case.
"Georgia is on top right now," Baker said. "They are still my leader."
Baker says he isn't sure of any visit plans between now and when he will decide.

I think you’re on point. He could be a special OT or a “good” DT. I don’t foresee another Kiante Tripp situation

Basically, the dude who picked it said he did so because UGA has developed a good relationship with Sharpe and his family and their depth chart is more favorable. He doesn't take into account that UF is Sharpe's favorite team and the fact that the entire Sharpe family are gator fans.
He also predicted Isaiah Wynn to Florida...which makes no sense right now.

Not saying you're wrong. And with the Wynn pick, I won't put too much stock into what he says. And Porter, I was just posting it, because it was interesting that he picked Sharpe to UGA.

Very interesting that Bo Scarborough insists that he's still solid to Bama, although he's taking all 5 OVs. He says that the two schools recruiting him the hardest right now are FSU and... UGA.
Is Scarborough good enough in and of himself to warrant taking 3 RBs in this class, or would we just take him to keep him away from Bama at this point and get a little bit of Kamaravenge?

I think he's going planning on transitioning to a WR/hybrid type position. From what I hear he's outgrowing being a rb. Could be wrong though...
