I've been following for the past 15 years. I remember the days of checking the Georgia Grapevine before rivals, scout, 247 and back when the Dawgvent was privately own but what's his name.

What's the word on Malkom P? I'm hearing it will go down in two weeks...

Brooks County defensive back Malkom Parrish will be at Georgia Tech on June 7 for a prospect picnic and at UGA on June 8 for the Mark Richt Mini Camp where his head coach, Maurice Freeman, will be working the camp.

Lot's of moaning & groaning about instate recruiting but are we doing that bad? Just looking at 247 instate top 20(& their crystal ball predictions) & it looks like...
LINK

From That list UGA will sign at least 4 of the top 8 in state...
3. Shaw
5. Russell
6. Parrish
8. Chubb

10. Sawyer UGA is 50-50 (so prolly 5 of top 10 in state)
11. no offer
12. no offer
15. no offer
16. no offer
20. no offer

There are 5 of the top 20 we've not offered, so apparently we are good at their position...

I think we're getting visits from #1,#2,#9,#17 & #20 among others who aren't committed yet...

Finally it's 9 months to NSD, & we're only taking around 20... Is it as bad as some are crying that it is??

Chubb will probably announce on Monday that he has committed, no big deal. He's going to be a Dawg, don't worry about that.

Haha not a joke.

I don't see this lasting. It's early but he is a big target of ours. Losing him to either Bama or OM would suck. I see it ending in a Bama/UGA battle though.

Elisha Shaw named Bama after his visit, UGA after his visit, and ole miss after his visit...it is what it is. It won't last.

In better news, Lorenzo Carter had a GREAT trip to Athens. Focus on that.

I'm just not too keen on Ole Miss being this big of a player in recruiting GA with almost no notable success to speak of. Especially when one of the Kiffin brood is on staff over there.

Absolutely, they've had the occasional cherry pick for whatever reasons, but to have continued success recruiting GA should never happen.
