I just checked ESPN's database, and it appears that there were 250 kids (on the nose) from the state of Georgia that went to FBS schools. Even with a monster class of 32-33, it's not possible to get them all.
Should we have gotten the lion's share of the best of them? Absolutely! But I don't know how to maximize that number. You'd likely see that number dwindle considerably when you look at how many of them had committable offers from Athens, but of those that did, there's a disproportionate number towards the top. The same area where the whiffs greatly outnumber the wins.

Oh, Parrish? Yeah, he's going to be a Dawg.

Also, rumor has it that Chubb will be in Athens tomorrow and a commitment could be forthcoming.

Mansell thinks it's VERY doubtful that Glass ends up at UGA.

Oh, I'm sick of kids committing then shitting out for those fricks at Ole Miss

I agree. There is absolutely no way they can be getting these guys legit. And I'm not even being butthurt. It's just extremely odd these high profile guys want to play at Ole Miss all of the sudden.

The Nick Glass crystal ball prediction is an inside joke to make fun of fans

Maybe they're big Tim McGraw fans?

I thought we only recruited thugs? Thugs don't like Tim McGraw... Do they

I was meaning more because he played Freeze in The Blind Side.

I thought he played Michael Oher's semi-daddy on the blind side?

Hell, I don't know. I haven't seen the movie.

Also, if we can turn up the heat and land McDowell, then nab a kid like Albright, I wouldn't cry over losing Glass but we can't lose him without bringing in a guy like McDowell.

Would we still have have a shot at Ruffin?

Luginbill at ESPN is reporting that Deshaun Watson isn't so solid to Clemson, after all. Watson has scheduled a visit to Auburn. I like this. See previously discussed 3 team battle strategy.

"Keep in mind this could all be as innocent as Watson just wanting to take a trip, but who knows? The offensive scheme is almost identical, and I would imagine there is a high likelihood that Auburn's main recruiting pitch is that it has a greater need at quarterback and Clemson OC Chad Morris likely will get a head-coaching job. That can be a pretty powerful tool for a quarterback in today's recruiting world."

Ahh yes. The joys of following recruiting 10 months before their signing day. How we all are not completely bat shite crazy by now, I have no idea. For some reason I continue to get sucked in year after year, for the past 10 or so.
